What a fantastic trip! It definitely exceeded my expectations in every way. My favourite part was of course the camel ride and the overnight stay in the Sahara desert - out of this world experience! I would recommend the trip to everyone. I travelled alone, but met lots of lovely people throughout the whole trip.

This is not really a review of the trip but an advice. If you are not a very high efficient sport person, don't try this with this company, look for other options.
I think one can underestimate the 24 hours claim. I marked three on the raiting because I believe this can be more clear in the descrption of the trip.

To start, SIMPLY AMAZING!!! This was my wife and I's second Skyhook Adventure and like the first, it did not disappoint! Previously we had done Everest Base Camp which was epic. So naturally we compared. While each were very different there were also many similarities. The primary similarity being just awesome lifelong memories! Our first takeaway was that we thought the first two days of the Salkantay Trek were more difficult than any two consecutive days for Everest Base Camp. Those first two days had a lot of km's / miles with significant elevation changes. Three from our group had to bite the bullet and get a horse to get up the mountain and we saw many others from other groups getting horses too. Mostly folks who had not prepared for that type of physical exertion. With that said, Everest Base Camp was overall much more challenging. Humantay Lake as well as Salkantay Pass were each exceptional. Many great pictures. One incredible highlight was the impeccable expertise and service of the local Alpaca Expeditions Team and Guides! Wow! Their knowledge and focus on creating the best experience for everyone was second to none. Awesome awesome awseome jobs by our "Generals & Professors" Ivan Ccorahua and Carlos Rayme! WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS! And when they say you have a chef.... well, you get a chef and three sous chefs making you three incredibly delicious meals every day in the field. Including baking a delicious vanilla cinnamon cake in the middle of nowhere!!! Who does that?!? And it isn't just the quality of the food, it is the attention to detail and care they also put into every meal presentation. Each morning our guide and a sous chef wake you up with a knock and hot coca tea! :-) Can't not include a mention of the very diverse make-up of our group nationalities; Peruvians, United States, Puerto Rico, Ireland, Australia, and England. That mix made it even more enjoyable and international. The overall itinerary was very accurate and probably somewhat understated at how amazing it all was. Finally, the breathtaking final day conclusion at Machu Picchu!!! Words alone can't describe the experience, the historical teaching from the guides and the pictures that will last a lifetime. We saw with our own eyes why this was named one of the new seven wonders of the world!!! Overall, a fantastic five-star experience! Prepare yourself properly with fitness, cardio and weight training and to deal with the altitude (talk with your physician). Do that and your experience will give you lifelong memories that keep giving back dividends for years to come! Logistically, plan for a couple days either side to enjoy Lima. STAY IN THE MIRAFLORES AREA. Make sure you try the Ceviche! We recommend La Mar in Lima! We would also recommend arriving at Cusco a few days early to acclimate to the altitude. The added bonus is that there is so much to see and do right in Cusco with great restaurants, etc. We recommend Organika at Ataud 154, Cusco 08000. Conclude all this with a recommendation to use the "Quick Lllama" Shuttle service from and to the Lima Airport. Reserve online. Fast, clean, reliable, great Whats App communication and only 20 Soles one way per person. That's like $6 US. Also recommend LATAM Airlines for flights to and from Cusco. Many flights daily and more reliable, etc. Enjoy and book your adventure now! DREAM BIG! NEVER QUIT! ----Kirk & Simone

Amazing experience in a truly magnificent place. Akis is very professional and knows the mountain as if it's part of him. It was absolutely wonderful, the views, the walks, we had a really nice group and a wonderful guide Léa. I sometimes would have loved to walk longer and higher, I thought the trek would be more challenging, but this is just a personal observation. We stayed in nice places, important not to forget earplugs since you might have to share bedroom with a heavy snorer :-). In the first and third place food was great. In the second place we had to ask for more as we where really hungry after a long day of hiking, and it wasn’t appreciated that we asked for more. Their picnic for the following day (a rice salad) was basically impossible to eat for all of us. It definitely was not worth the price. But even that didnˋt minimise the total pleasure and happiness this trip gave me!
All in all perfect and once again a big thank you to our guide Léa.

Amazing from start to finish
Accommodation was excellent for this type of holiday
Good on second night could be little bit better but overall just perfect
I’m terms how hard was it it was what I expected
We got lots of help and all information from our guide Lea
She was brilliant and we had some laughs along the way
Would recommended to my friends
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
Pros:
- Our guide Lea was excellent, funny and knowledgeable
- Amazing views
- Truly once in a lifetime experience
- Group dynamics was amazing
Cons:
- Accommodations were very basic and I did not understand when I booked the trip there would be no options for private rooms but all sleep in dorms. This can be an issue if somebody is snoring (and usually always somebody is).
- The hike overall was a bit more demanding than expected
- The food in the lodges was very basic and not very good in all of them

Fantastic trip, we loved every minute and felt everything was very well organised. Very impressed with the guide, activities and choice and quality of the food especially considering it was all cooked on the camping stove or fire. The only improvement that could have been made was that we stayed at the voss youth hostel the night before and had a 15 minute walk with all our luggage to our pick up point while others who booked with a different company got picked up at the hostel which would have been easier. But overall I would highly recommend, an excellent trip.

Hi,
Everything was excellent. Johnson is excellent guide with good humor and knowledge of Kilimanjaro and local customs. I think the only thing what you should do is to highlight that this itinerary is actually on a harder side and not for everyone. We managed (I even developed something with the stomach on a 3rd day which made it further worse) and all three in our group summited but it was quite hard (and even “3 days of jogging” might not cut it for everyone :)). Hotels (both the initial one and extra days) were also good (the extra nights one is especially good.

Tour operator and the guide were incompetent. They don’t have any idea how to deal with different types of hikers like beginners, intermediate or expert. Guide misleaded other guests against any particular guest. He was rude and non considerate and threatened repeatedly by his boss. It seemed like Mountaineerin wants money without providing any service.
Travelled on: National 3 Peaks Challenge (24 Hours)
A hard challenge but Rob our very experienced guide worked hard to keep everyone motivated and on target to complete within the 24 hours. Rob had a very relaxed and friendly approach which put the group at ease. He clearly explained the necessary kit prep and logistics for each leg of the challenge and constantly informed us on timings every step of the way. Very patient and humorous and very good at keeping the team together as we made our way up and down the mountains.
Our driver Darren was equally excellent and experienced with the tight schedules needed in order to complete within the 24 hours.
Travelled on: National 3 Peaks Challenge (24 Hours)
Many, many thanks to our guide Rob and drivers Darren and Colin. Amazing 🙌 Everyone is committed to completing the 24hr challenge and supporting the group to the max. The going is tough and the pace brutal, but that is what is required for success. Was also impressed with the networking from all the guides - special mention for Darren - and the camaraderie on the Peaks. Good memories made!

When you read the other reviews and they say the quality of the logistics was faultless, they are absolutely spot on. I did the trip solo and made some incredible friends in just two days. Take a head torch! Probably the most important item to pack. There’s plenty of food and water and Haribo was the savior so bring sweets to keep the spirits high. By the end of the second day, I don’t think my legs or feet had ever felt so tired but what a rush getting to the summit in time for sunrise. You feel like you’re sitting on top of the world. It was hard, I mean really hard, climbing big boulders in the dark trying to follow your team in front, maintaining a pace that was out of my comfort zone. So if you are fit then yes it is an amazing hike. If you are kind of fit then you will find it very hard indeed. Overall, an incredible experience
Travelled on: Hike Mount Toubkal (4,167m)
A great adventure which is well organized however you need to be prepared unlike what is described on the website. It's trekking up and down mountains with inclines from 700m - 1200m which is not as easy. The 2/5 difficulty rating is misleading. If you do regular physical activity you will manage but having to really push throughout.

Finally got to go on this trip after 2 years of Covid delays and it was absolutely amazing. Accommodation and food was excellent and no complaints at all. The views are unbelievabe. The hikes are challenging and a reasonable level of fitness is needed. Our guide Ben was excellent - great knowledge of the mountains and great fun too. If you’re thinking about this trip just book it !

An amazing adventure! Totally suitable for beginners. Our guide, Lizzie, was particularly good - very skillful and knowledgeable. Excellent organisation. The only thing to mention is that the Web content could be a little misleading. Your tents aren't put up for you and aren't yurt/teepee types as shown on the pictures. Whilst this was absolutely fine for our group, others may be disappointed. The wild campsites were great and the stop off in Fort Augustus for a bit of civilisation I.e..chips and ice cream, was great Would reccomend.

I had a fantastic time enjoying the wildlife & scenery along the river Spey & the thrill of the rapids too. It was a good mix of challenging & relaxing. Rory our guide was very patient & knowledgeable. He's a great cook too. We had some lovely camping spots to enjoy watching the sunset over the river. All in all a great trip. I'd highly recommend Scottish rock & water 😁

This was one of the best trips I have done with incredible views, weather, and a great groupof people to climb with. The Atlas Vertical team were lovely and we were all very well looked after. It was a challenging climb though I would thoroughl recommend doing it as it is a very rewarding experience.
Travelled on: Hike Mount Toubkal (4,167m)
The trip was a fantastic experience. A big thank you to the guides, porters and chefs for looking after the entire group throughout. They were accommodating for all abilities and were always smiling. Had a brilliant group and the views were spectacular, and worth the climb. Would recommend booking this tour, as it was efficiently ran, good value for money, with a chance to experience the local cuisine in huge portions.

This trip was absolutely first class. Lahouceine and his team at Atlas Vertical really put the effort in to make sure we were looked after, comfortable and well fed. The guides, cooks and porters all do an incredible job and work long hours to look after you and do everything they can to make sure you are safe and complete the trek.
Thanks to Lahouceine and his team for what really was a trip of a lifetime.
Travelled on: Hike Mount Toubkal (4,167m)
This was my first 4K+ mountain and everything that the guides/hosts done to accommodate that was first class. The guides were very friendly, accommodating and professional. We didn’t speak directly with porters/chefs until the end but the food was quality (also in high volume, superb) and they ran everything as clockwork. You never felt unsure on next steps/arrival times which is great when you are focussed on climbing.
The group was a mixed bag of experience, were super supportive of each other and always had warm smiles. A great bunch and I’d love to meet again on a future adventure!
Travelled on: Hike Mount Toubkal (4,167m)
I had an amazing time on the trip - it was well organised, the guides were excellent, very knowledgable, helpful and accommodating. The food was good. I felt well looked after. We made it to the top of the mountain by sunrise, and the views were mesmerising. I would recommend Skyhook to anyone who is looking to climb Toubkal - its a good value for money and takes the pressure off having to prepare meals and accommodation for 2-3 days!
Travelled on: Hike Mount Toubkal (4,167m)
Extremely well organised tour, and fabulous value for money. If anyone is looking to test themselves at altitude this is definitely the perfect trip. You get very well looked after in terms of the guides being highly professional, and the quality of food that is provided throughout the trip. Also, the views are immense.

I honestly can’t rate skyhook adventures enough for this epic 4 day guided tour. Would like to thank the whole team especially my hero Omar who helped me through in through out.. top to bottom and didn’t give up on me even when I was at my lowest. Would definitely use skyhook adventures again for future trips and would highly recommend them.

Just back from a fantastic 4 day hike in the Alps and could not recommend it highly enough. Crystal was a superb guide and kept us informed on the trail, the views and the fauna along the way. I was lucky enough to join a super group of people and shared so many stories and laughs along the way that you forgot about the incline! Definitely will sign up for another hike with Alps Adventures in the future.

This was my first 4 days consecutive hike and I started getting prepared for it a year in advance with weekly hikes carryibg a 7 kg backpack . I was usually at the end of the hike but I never felt like left out or the pace was too exhausting, Our guide , Crystal was a great leader who was always there for us , caring , knowledgeable and sincere . The lodgement facilities get better everyday . Everyday was intense but a lot of fun in nature .Coming back home was not easy , felt like everywhere is concrete and automated . Beautiful experience with a lot of satisfaction . AlpAdventures is the local company which had a seamless organisation; highly recommend it.

It was a wonderful, unforgettable, well-planned, and executed walk by Alps Adventures. Our guide Christal was such a lovely person, a highly professional guide with so much experience and knowledge.
This was my first time doing this kind of walk in the mountains, did not know if I could handle the climbing with backpacks. However, Christal made such a good pace and took such good care of each of us that I felt always safe and strong. She is also such an interesting person and our beautiful talks during the walk will always stay warm in my memories.
The group was amazing, connecting lovely people from around the globe. We had so much fun in addition to accomplishing this challenging yet so much fulfilling walk.
The refuges are simple as expected, a bit difficult for sleep and shower&toilet for someone doing it for the first time. I am sure people get used to it, especially if you know what to expect.
The routes were well planned, the breaks were right on time! We learned so much from Christal about the history, nature and culture of the tour.
I am looking forward to working with her again and booking for next year again from Alps Adventures for sure!

I had such a fantastic time.
Heidi, our guide, was lovely. She gave us freedom to be ourselves while keeping us safe and guiding us gently at all times. I would happily jump on another trip knowing she was our guide.
Our group was very mixed in experience to kayaking and camping but everyone looked out for each other and made the whole journey a great laugh and a real treat.
I would encourage anyone thinking about taking this trip to jump in and go for it.
Travelled on: Hike, Kayak and Wild Camp the Norwegian Fjords
Fabulous trip from start to finish, thanks particularly to our guide Heidi, and the friendly group I was part of. Even though I’m a novice at kayaking we successfully crossed the fjord which was stunning. Evening meals were tasty and nutritious at our camping spot and there was loads of chocolate going round during the day to keep up our energy. We had a fun wild swim and a couple of intermediate level hikes to get amazing views high up over the fjord. A really well organised trip, thank you.

Over all is was a great trip. Great group of people and great views. 1 day in Italy, 2.5 days in Switzerland, 1/2 day in France.
I knocked down the star rating due to the guide, she was very uninformative. I could say a lot more about her but I'm not going too.
I am vegan and I was told before the trip I would have been totally accommodated. This was not the case. There was only soya milk for breakfast on the last morning.
Just a word of warning, lunches a very expensive and you don't get very much. If you can bring 3 pack lunches then do.
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
I would recommend this trip to anyone. Pur guide Lea was brilliant. She was kind, patient, looked after all of us, especially my mum who struggled a bit at times with the heat and the altitude. The huts were great, Lea organised our Lunches and explained what the day would hold each evening before. Her knowledge of the mountains is incredible.
The tour itself takes you through some of the most beautiful scenery of mountains and forest with great views of Mont Blanc all round. Its hard work with long steep trails climbing up as the tour tells you when you book on but it's so worth it. Wouldn't recommend if your cardio is poor but it was the best thing I've ever done and I will definitely be doing another!!

If want to spend hours at the shops or eat and sleep and sleep at fancy places this is not a trip for you. If you want to have a nice experience of real Morocco and see as much as possible in just 7 days this is the ideal trip. Everything worked fine with the guides and the tour. Have necessarily cash for tips with you and be prepared to eat the same dishes again and again (its a general moroccan thing). September in Morocco was very warm for europeans, 35-40 celcius.

What an incredible experience! I just completed the Salkantay Trek (Sep 1-8, 2022) with an amazing group of people, including our fantastic guides Saul G. and Gregorio M. I can’t say enough about how awesome the experience was. Sure some parts were physically challenging (but I expected them to be) but the entire experience was so well planned and executed. The Alpaca Expeditions staff (especially Saul G. and Gregorio M.) were extremely knowledgeable, professional, caring, and fun. They were careful to explain each day’s itinerary, emphasized safety, answered all of our questions, and accommodated our individual needs. They were kind and fun and it is obvious they are passionate about their jobs. I also want to give a special shout-out to Chef Walter and his team (Gourmet meals at the foot of Salkantay Pass? Hot coca tea and a warm breakfast at the beginning of each day? Why, yes and yes.) Julio and his porters (the true “green machines” and iron men) were also awe-inspiring. I had a light day pack and struggled on some parts of the trail and the porters carried enormous loads and ran past us!! I can’t recommend Skyhook Adventure and Alpaca Expeditions enough and will encourage anyone who wants to trek in Peru to check them out. They are truly an outstanding company!

It was amazing. Scenery was stunning. The organisation and the guide were great. Just right the mix of wild camping with the occassional trip to civilisation to get some essentials. Would thoroughly recommend for any first time kayakers.

If you are sat on the fence wondering whether to book… DO IT!!
This trip was so much fun and really well organised.
Our guide Dan was so friendly and shaped the trip depending on what we fancied doing- including a night paddle which was amazing! The whole trip felt super relaxed and not rushed at all.
Really was not ready to leave!
Oh and lots of chocolate is supplied (including Kit Kats hehe)
Travelled on: Hike, Kayak and Wild Camp the Norwegian Fjords
This trip was fantastic! Beautiful scenery and we had a fantastic guide who kept us safe and had good knowledge of the area and kayaking in general! I can highly recommend this trip if you love the outdoors and being part of a team.
The only request that I would make is to be given more guidance on how to travel to the start of the trip. Organising travel to and from Norway was tricky and it took a lot longer than I would have liked. Thank you for a fantastic experience overall

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, Will was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with everything aspect of camping and the areas we were in, haggis night was by far the best meal of the trip and I couldn’t rate this trip higher
Travelled on: Canoe Expedition Across Scotland
My son and I thought we’d try something new we hadn’t done before….. and we both absolutely loved every minute of it.
Beautiful scenery everywhere you look.
We had a great group and we all soon bonded.
The food was plentiful and most tasty. Haggis night was a great hit 😁
Our guide Will made our trip even more enjoyable. Very knowledgeable and answered all our questions thrown at him (and there were lots) but above all just a very very likeable guy.
We’re looking into the next adventure already.

Absolutely fantastic trip. Wonderful experience with fabulous people. Would like to add that our guide Paul made the trip so brilliant. He was a total professional while being very warm and friendly. His knowledge of the Alps and its ecology was second to none and we couldn’t have picked a better guide. Thank you Paul for making it such a memorable experience.

Great trip- awesome views, lovely people. A big shout out to Paul for being the most amazing guide! He made sure averyone was comfortable and had great stories to share (including an Everest summit). Would highly recommend!

Our guide Paul Spackman was just amazing! He provided a wealth of information, tips and interesting stories that made the hard climbs not as hard. The group was an enthusiastic bunch. All in all had loads of fun - 4 days to remember for a long time and many relations to carry forward.
Lastly but not least, the organizing team was very helpful in answering all my questions and even provided suggestions prior to the hiking days.

Absolutely fantastic trip. We were lucky with the weather and the views were superb over the whole four days. We had a fabulous group who clicked together in no time with great camaraderie throughout. Our Team Leader, Paul Spackman, was fantastic throughout the walk, a truly inspirational man, who provided great motivation. Paul’s story of his Everest ascent had me captivated and it has renewed my ambition to climb Kilimanjaro.

Excellent trip, our guide Paul got me through. Paul was very informative. Fantastic scenery, well worth going. Sticks are definitely needed. Your hard work was definitely paid off by the views. A trip that cannot be forgotten.

It is hard to find the words to describe the wonder of this trip, it was incredible for mind, body and soul. Paul was an amazing guide, he is so knowledgeable about the route and his experience is awesome. He was a great leader and inspired confidence in us all. Every day was different and the mountains were so beautiful. This was the first time doing a tour with Skyhook and we were a little nervous of doing the tour, worried about how we get on with the others on the trek etc. However our group made a great team and of course we all got on as we were all like-minded people. The others were fabulous and we had many laughs together along the way. Such a pleasure to be part it.

What a great 4 days!! Amazing hikes and scenery everyday.
Our guide Paul was brilliant - very knowledgeable about the area and the flora/fauna. Great company and kept us all going!
Met a great bunch of people who made an already amazing experience even better.
Point to note - I loved the refuges as part of the whole experience but if close proximity mixed dormitory accommodation and shared bathrooms/toilets aren’t your thing then this trip isn’t for you!

Fantastic five days of wild camping and canoeing across the Great Glen. Weather was kind to us and could not have asked for a better group of people to do it with. Sam our guide was amazing. Great instruction and personality. Also a great cook. It was challenging and I'm knackered but would recommend it. So glad I booked it.🛶🦟🦕🔥⛰️🌊🛶🍻😄

The trip was excellent in every way. Lea was the perfect host /guide. She was knowledgeable, funny, relaxed, organised, supportive. We couldn’t have asked for me from her. The alpine walks were lovely with great views along the trail around Mont Blanc. All the refuges were clean and well presented with good accommodation in dormitory rooms and nice food. Our group was great - lots of similar outdoors, fun loving people wanting a short break somewhere different. As a fist timer to sky hook and alps adventures we couldn’t have had a better experience.
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
Couldn't recommend this more highly to anyone. The walks are challenging but doable with an emphasis on doing what you feel comfortable (although having a base level of fitness if helpful). The views are absolutely spectacular and I still cannot quote fathom the utter beauty of the places we walked. A absolute massive thanks to our wonderful guide, Lea who has a fabulous personality and fantastic knowledge. It's a trip I would highly recommend, with all details taken care of so the only though required is getting to Geneva/Chamonix (and the FAQs really help).
It was truly an unforgettable trip, the only problem is deciding where to choose next.
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
Absolutely amazing experience. Incredible views, everything organised very well for the trip from pick up to drop. Great group and our Lea made the whole trip exceptional experience with her sense of humour and knowledge of the area.
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
Top notch. Everything was out of this world from logistically management (airport transfers, organisation, hut bookings, catering for people [gluten and dairy intolerant]) through to an absolute amazing local guide. Whilst the group make a trip, the guide makes it special and memorable. Lea was fun, entertaining, knowledgeable and approachable. Thank you 😊😊

Fantastic trip around Mont Blanc with a great bunch of people. Very well organised and timings are perfect for arrivals to and from refuges. Our guide Lea was amazing, so informative, helpful and funny. She was a fantastic guide on this trip but also part of the group socially. Would highly recommend to anyone. !!!

This trip was brilliantly organised and everything taken care of to ensure that the group got to really experience the wonderful beauty of Norway. Our guide, Heidi, was amazing in every way and encouraged and facilitated a supporting environment for all of the group and we were able to really enjoy the experiences offered to us.
I can't recommend Nordic Paddling highly enough... fantastic trip.
Travelled on: Hike, Kayak and Wild Camp the Norwegian Fjords
Fabulous trip, in a beautiful area, even for for beginners. Our guide Mel (Land & Wave) couldn't have been better & as there were only 2 of us, everything was fitted around us. He was knowledgeable on the local area, tides & conditions etc to make the paddling trips really enjoyable even though we had little previous experience. The tents & camp set up were very good but, not being a seasoned camper, the campsite facilities were slightly more basic than I had expected. We would definitely recommend & are already looking for our next adventure.
Travelled on: Kayak the Jurassic Coast
Really enjoyed this trip and Mel was an excellent, knowledgeable guide on and off the water. The trip to Harry's Rock on the final day was a real highlight.
Travelled on: Kayak the Jurassic Coast
`the trip was as difficult as `i imagined, so you need training before. Food for lunch can be improved. Our group was absolutely great, even if we did not know each other, really helpful to one another, having fun in the evenings. As a matter of motivation during the day, I would have liked to set some intermediary goals with the guide.

The trip was fantastic. Our tour guide Ben was brilliant. His knowledge of the trail and the weather was fantastic and he managed to guide us safely. Would like to give Ben 5 stars. He was amazing . The only change we may recommend is to not use the hut on the second day. The hut had poor cleanliness and just one toilet for 24 people. The tour was fantastic we loved the hike. And our guide Ben was just brillaint.

Firstly, I could not fault the trip leaders, Lizzy was very knowledgeable and did her best to support and help at all times. Lee was always there to help, and Cam was lovely. The trip overall was fantastic, with amazing views and great camp spots. It helped that we had a fantastic crew. We also had the weather on our side most of the trip. Rain and worse winds would have changed outcomes. Things to improve upon would be the following: the trip is not for beginners. I have never been canoeing before and it was tough. When canoeing over Loch Ness conditions were windy and it was not somewhere for inexperienced people. As mentioned above, Lizzy was excellent, but it wasn't the best situation. The trip does require a degree of fitness, I class myself as pretty fit undertaking regular trail runs and other sports. At times I struggled so just to point out it does require fitness. When I got my tent it was damp, it smelt terrible and hardly had any tent pegs. I was not on my own with this issue but we cleaned our tents out the best we could and used them. It worked out, but if the wind had been any worse we wouldn't have had enough pegs. It would be better if they were checked before each trip. The food was adequate, but it could be improved upon with organisation as reaching into a large blue tub for whatever was left over didn't really work very well. Possibly pre-packed lunch could have worked and one pots for tea such as stew. Finally, just to say that you get given one large waterproof bag and two smaller ones to put in your canoe. The large bag fits whatever you have brought plus your tent. The smaller bags are for whatever you might need in the day. This was not made very clear to us before we went on the trip so just thought I would mention it. Despite all of the above, the trip was still fantastic and I am really pleased I had the opportunity to experience it.
Travelled on: Canoe Across Scotland
It was good , but I do think u need some experience due to unpredictable weather conditions & a good level of fitness and stamina is needed. Think the tents need drying before the next trip as they weren’t ! And better planning for food and meals .
Travelled on: Canoe Across Scotland
The trip was great and the views were stunning. The guides Lizzie and Lee were fantastic, so knowledgeable and made the trip brilliant. We were mostly lucky with the weather, it only affected us on one day which made crossing Loch Ness difficult but Lizzie had a plan so we could still enjoy the day.
The group was also great, lots of laughs were had. I was very sad to finish the trip and have to return home.

Full credit to our guides Lizzie Harrington and Lee Rushworth for sharing your knowledge & expertise of the water & its surroundings, and for keeping safety at the forefront throughout. Your hospitality was exceptional - I’ve never eaten so much food whilst wild camping! @good2go_adventuresuk 🙌

The Yorkshire 3 peaks was excellent. It was much more physically challenging than I thought it would be. In total we did 40km with ascent. It would be great training for a bigger trip but was also very enjoyable on it's own. The guide, Rob, was superb - really good company, informative and set a good pace. He knew plenty about the local wildlife and eco-climate which I thought was very interesting and made the day more exciting.

My 4th trip with Louise and Tom's Alp Adventures! I wanted something a bit gentler ahead of a higher summit in September so this was a perfect pace and beautiful scenery. Absolute delight to see Zermatt in summer when you have skied it in winter too.
Travelled on: Matterhorn Highlights
The guide and drivers were good and all went to plan in terms of the itinerary. The problem was that we were a large group of 11 of mixed ability with just one guide. This meant that those who couldn't keep to the 24h pace were sent back to the bus on each climb. Had there been two guides, the slower group could have continued at a slower pace but not summited so as not to jeopardise the challenge for the faster participants. Instead myself and nearly half the group spent the vast majority of the time on the bus - which really ruined the experience unnecessarily. I don't feel that Skyhook made it clear enough the level of fitness and experience required, this challenge isn't for people of average fitness. It would have been better to complete a fitness questionnaire and then be pushed towards an easier/longer challenge, rather than unknowingly sign up for something unachievable and therefore have a negative experience.

Absolutely amazing trip! highly recommended. Sam and Geoff our guides from Good2Go were fabulous, very experienced, professional and great company. Loved the wild camping sites we stayed at, the views were just incredible. The food was delicious and catered for all dietary needs, inlcuding the snacks! Can't recommend Sam and Geoff enough and the Good2Go team!

Absolutely incredible trip! Our guides Sam and Geoff from Good2Go were highly knowledgeable, dependable, experienced and professional plus, most importantly, great company. They gave us exceptional guidance, info and support at all stages of the trip, from the tranquil canal to tackling the wind on the open water of Loch Ness. Wild camping sites were expertly chosen for great views and secluded spots. Food was delicious: the menu had been carefully planned and there was always more than enough to satisfy hearty canoeing appetites. Can't recommend Sam and Geoff enough and the Good2Go team!

What a trip! What an adventure! Right from the start, Sam and Geoff, our instructors, were reassuring, friendly and filled us with huge confidence that we could do the trip. The wild camping and lunch spots were so well selected, and the group dynamics was excellent - we really did become a canoe family very quickly! The company in charge of us, Good to Go, was so good, especially the day before, when one of our group landed in Glasgow minus her case. Chucky couldn't have been more helpful. I highly recommend this trip - it is challenging and inspiring.

A truly magical experience from start to finish all thanks to our knowledgeable guide, Mads. Our needs were immediately attended to as we arrived at the beautiful cabin on day 1. We were met with a hot brew, a lovely meal and the trip itinerary which was expertly explained by Mads. Kayaking around the Lysefjord was truly breath taking ! We saw seals and with Mads calm and professional guidance I had a fantastic paddling trip. I felt very safe at all times as all the safety techniques and paddle manoeuvres were skilfully demonstrated by our very patient guide. We also learnt a lot about the fjord and how it was made from the glaciers in the ice ages ! The night paddling was an extra bonus and an exhilarating experience. We got to see plankton which made the sea sparkle like stars. Our hike up Pulpit Rock gave the most spectacular views of the fjord from above (over 600 metres from memory) and it was most definitely one of my highlights. Great if you love your hiking ! It was a challenging, stunning, out of this world and special experience all in one ! The final day saw us return to the paddles to see this cliff otherwise known as the "Preachers chair" from below. We also kayaked through the coves along the way. I highly recommend this trip. I have made some lifelong friends, our guide was truly amazing and I am so glad I chose this trip, thanks guys +++++

This trip was amazing and I owe it all to our guides William and Vincent! They were supportive, knowledgeable, and fun. The Porters, John, Frank and Everest did everything in their power to make us comfortable from coffee served to our tent and buckets of warm water to wash up. Because of their support, all four of my hiking mates were able to successfully summit Kili.. The food was excellent and I was never hungry, in fact I didn't need the extra snacks that I brought. I feel blessed to have met some incredible hiking mates and new friends. This trip could not have been better!

A great 4 day Mont Blanc experience. Spectacular scenery as you walk your way from cabin to cabin, with the days varying from walking on open paths, walking through and up above the tree line and along streams with the sound of cow bells.
Make sure you don't under estimate the toughness of the walks - there are a lot of ups, but once up you forget the aching legs, tight calves and enjoy the post walk ambiance of the cabins and group chatter. Cabins very comfortable - each unique and in beautiful settings.
Our guide Ben was very professional throughout. Providing information about what to expect for the walks ahead, and giving some local insight into the views and natural landscapes. He also joined us in the evenings, sharing stories and laughter over drinks and ensured the cohesiveness of the group.
Would defo recommend this trip - to make it more enjoyable for you, make sure you do some training and get out in the hills before going to Mont Blanc.

This was the most amazing experience however it was far far harder than described or anticipated!
I consider myself to be fit and trek lots but this was something else!
Our guide Ben was superb.
The food at all the lodges was great.
The sleeping arrangements were cosy.
Regardless of the determination needed to complete the 4 day walk - the sense of accomplishment on day 4 was second to none!
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
Excellent trip, my second with Skyhook. Trek is quite a bit harder than the website description, with two people dropping out over the course of the four days. Long, hard climbs, rewarded with spectacular views and great sense of achievement.
Accommodation on nights 2 and 3 were excellent, with comfortable bunkbeds and 6 or 8 people to a room. However accommodation on night 1 was below par, with 19 people in one room (not necessarily a problem) but the beds are all lined up immediately adjacent each other with no gap between, so you are literally laying between two other people (who could quite easily be strangers). Only way out of bed was at the foot of the bed. Photos can be seen on trip advisor to get the idea. Bed linen is also NOT washed between guests so make sure you don't forget your sleeping bag liner!
Food at all three accommodations was delicious and plentiful.
If not for the bed arrangements on the first night this would be a 5 star review. It does say dormitory style accommodation on the trip description which I was ready for, however I wasn't prepared for such a "cosy" arrangement on the first night.
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
Excellent trip, very friendly/knowledgeable guide and I will be highly likely to use Skyhook Adventure in the future.
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
Trip of a lifetime - I was not prepared for the climbs (that’s on me) but the group, our guide Ben and the laughs, which there were a lot of, got me through and I did it!
If you are considering this trip, train before you go, pack only the essentials ‘light is right’ and be ready for spectacular views!
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
The trip was outstanding and the guide Ben who works for Alps Adventures was superb. He demonstrated vast and interesting knowledge of the area which only comes living and working there. He was smart funny and engaging and at all times you felt safe. He spent time getting to know and walk with different individuals and the group came together well. The routes whilst challenging were breathtakingly beautiful and words cannot describe the amazing sights. Without a doubt you need to have an above average level of fitness and it is worthwhile training prior to coming on the trip as the altitude along with the climbs can be tiring. It was a trip of a lifetime and one along with my friends we will never forget. Thank you.
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
Well that was epic!
I have to say, I didn't think it was gonna be as tough, but really enjoyed it. Ben (our guide) was cool, dead knowledgeable, professional but also good company. The accommodation was basic but clean, and food was good, just what we needed. We were also pretty lucky and had perfect conditions for our tour. A few bits of advice. Pack light, honestly! Get yourself fit, with lots of uphill practice, it'll serve you well. And take some tiger balm.

I had an amazing time on this tour. The Norwegian fjords are just unbelievably beautiful - especially the views on the hike - and the whole trip felt like it was a complete escape from the real world. The tour itself was super well planned and organised, and we fit in a lot during the 3 days. Our guide Sebastian was absolutely great - super friendly, looked after us all very well, and made the trip a lot of fun.
And for anyone who hasn't done this sort of thing before and is a bit nervous about booking, I'd highly recommend - it felt like a real adventure, and as a kayaking newbie it felt like the perfect tour for both beginners and more experienced people.

Fantastic 5 days exploring the Great Glen Way. As a complete canoeing novice, this trip was manageable but also challenging at times. The guides Grant & Kev were great, the food was all delicious and the days planned out well - I would highly recommend Beyond Adventure.
Already planning my next adventure!
Travelled on: Canoe Expedition Across Scotland
The expedition was brilliant. Our guide, Grant was excellent and made the holiday. He was very well qualified, patient, never showed any stress, a good chef, knowledgable about the history, and if anything was to go wrong I would be confident that he would be able to deal with it. Kevin his assistant was also great. The trip itself was memorable for many reasons and I would recommend. It can be physically hard work at times so being fit helps get the most out of the holiday. The trip size was also appropriate with 7 (planned with 8). Any more would have felt crowded.
Travelled on: Canoe Expedition Across Scotland
I joined as a solo traveler and absolutely loved it. The organisation that runs the trip (beyond adventure) we’re very good. Clear instructions and communication before it started; the guides were absolutely fantastic both on and off the water. Felt safe, looked after and entertained. The food was better than I cook at home and was plentiful. The group of 7 + 2 guides, was just the right size. Would highly recommend this trip and this company.
Travelled on: Canoe Expedition Across Scotland
The trip was very well organised and the huts and food was spot on. The group was a perfect which is not always the case so we were lucky. I would say that the weather wasn’t it’s best for us but we still got the view we wanted at the end and having time to enjoy this at the end was a bonus.
Thank you for a lovely experience.

Thoroughly recommend it.

This trip was amazing, I loved every minute. From the canoeing, the wild camping, the company, the vegan food that our guide Rory cooked up each day (don't worry there were meat options too) and the scenery - just awesome. Just a few pointers that people probably need to think about when booking - your feet will get wet, even if you manage to avoid capsizing you are going to get your feet wet getting in and out of the canoe so be prepared. You do need some level of fitness for the portages and the canoeing tbh, it really is at least 6hrs a day and sometimes into a head wind. And don't worry about taking a chair, unless it's one of those teeny tiny foldy uppy ones, they just get in the way. Other than that if you are thinking about booking then book, when we finished I just wanted to carry on - signs of a great time.

I really enjoyed the trip. The guide was very knowledgable about canoeing techniques and the local area and the food was great.

We had a fantastic trip with Rory, our guide for 5 days canoeing along Loch Ness, the Caledonian canal, Loch Oich and Loch Lochy. The weather was unpredictable, but Rory kept us up to date and flexibility was key to making the trip enjoyable rather than an arduous task! Wild camping was great and our chef (Rory) kept us well fed! We'd highly recommend this trip.

Excellent! Wow what a fantastic time my Daughter and I had. Beautiful scenery, wildlife and a lovely group. Our tour guide Rory did an amazing job the food was lovely and the wild campsites picked out made the best of the shelter and views.

It was an amazing and unforgettable 4 days on Mont Blanc. It was a pleasure sharing time on this adventure with a wonderful group of people and met a new friendships. Massive thanks to our brilliant guide Paul Spackman, who is the best guide ever, who teach us about mountains, trees, plants. We couldn't ask for better leader. Can't wait for the next adventure

Just back from an incredible trip with an amazing group of people and the best guide you could ask for, Paul!!! If I could give him 10stars I would.
If you are looking forward to going, you are in for a treat, if you haven't booked yet, what are you waiting for.
The places we stayed were so nice, the food so good and the mountain views and atmosphere incredible.
Paul was so knowledgeable of the area and was able to give us so much interesting information and tell us amazing stories.
Without spoiling the treat, my top tips would be....pack light everyone rewears bottoms/tshirts, lunch is 12-20euro plus money for drinks and any extra treats you might like, take flipflops for an evening and definitely stay in Chamonix for a day either before or after the trip (there are many transfer buses available for not a lot), we stayed at Alpina Eclectica which was very nice. You can walk to the meeting point in less than half hour.
You won't be disappointed with this trip.

What can I say, an amazing trip from start to finish! Our guide Omar did a fantastic job alongside all the other team members at keeping us all safe, well fed and motivated (especially on summit day). A fantastic group of people and a great adventure that I will never forget.

Gorgeous views. Great hiking. No mountain hut stops on the 3rd day. Group made the trip fantastic but guide should’ve been catered to a more tourist group trip, not ultra trail runners so it seemed like a mismatch for our group. Area is gorgeous!
