Just completed the 4 day Mont Blanc with Alps adventures with Paul as our guide and I have to say that both Tom (alps adventures) and Paul (guide) have created an adventure coupled with health & safety in mind and the customer/ client will always be put first, they look after you so well from providing crampons (required this particular trip) and Paul giving you so much interesting info along the route around plants and wildlife (loved the fun facts). I went as a solo traveller and they ensure you are integrated within the group so you don't feel excluded. They sort accommodation, lunches for every day aside from day one which is down to you to arrange (you pay for all the lunches but what we got, was very good value). If you go with Alps Adventures, then it's essential you read the FAQs around levels of fitness and ensure you are in good shape to participate and most importantly, enjoy an exciting adventure with scenery which is out of this world...don't dither any longer and get it booked with Alps Adventures - thank you for a wonderful experience!

Wow what an adventure!! Loved every second of this - our guide Toni was superb and the group was just lovely - different ages but great sense of teamwork - each day brought something different and exciting - canyoning was amazing and a real adrenal rush from start to finish! so challenging yet so enjoyable
Loved the rafting and kayaking also - didn't want this trip to end - will be back guys - super - well done Eva and Damir and Toni at Malduk Adventures
Our food was in Ultimo Restaurant in Omis which was also superb - food fab and service absolutely excellent thank you guys

This hike was demanding but incredibly satisfying and rewarding with absolutely stunning views that will stay with me forever. The best and most professional guide, Paul, did everything for everyone in the group, and the atmosphere gave you the energy to push that "little extra"!

Nearly perfect. In my opinion, though, the Toubkal would require one more day or, at least, a notice on how demanding is for those unexperienced. Some extra info regarding the services available at Merzouga would be welcome: amenities and food both in the shuttle hotel and the desert camp.
Travelled on: Mt Toubkal & Sahara Desert Adventure
An amazing trip with a lovely small group and beautiful mountains! The views and terrain are spectacular, and you will feel safe and supported at all times (especially in the summit section where ropes and helmets are needed). Our guide Vasilis was knowledgeable and friendly, and I would highly recommend this trip to hikers or those who want to push themselves.
Travelled on: Mount Olympus Hike (2,919m)
Absolutely unforgettable trip. Well organised. The itinerary was monitored and changed according to the weather conditions etc. If you read the trip details and watch Tom's videos on youtube before you go you are somewhat prepped for what you are about to experience but nothing can prepare you for the views (weather dependent) We pretty much went through the four seasons during our 4 days.
Grigor our guide was always at hand to advise. Whether it was to answer questions 'how long till the next stop' 'how far today' 'is there somewhere we can stop and have a wee' or just to advise on what best to wear in respects of predicted weather. By the end of the trek he definitely felt like one of the team rather than just the guide.
I found Day 2 the most challenging day but by that doesn't that mean the rest of the days were easy. They were all challenging in their own different way. However there are regular breaks and we were lucky to have such a great team of people in our group.
Bring earplugs as its shared accommodation and you will no doubt encounter snorers zzz and sleep or lack of it will definitely impact on the experience.

I've just come back from the most wonderful 4 day group hike, led by Grigor from Alps Adventures. In total 13 of us completed the 'Tour de Mont Blanc Highlights' hike, starting in Courmayeur in Italy and taking us through Switzerland and then on to Le Tour near Chamonix. Even though the weather wasn't always great, we had a blast - challenging ourselves physically and mentally, eating wonderful food (the mountainside rosti on day 3 was to die for), learning all about the local flora and fauna in each area that we passed through (Grigor has an incredible bank of knowledge to draw upon, which kept us captivated throughout!) and forging real friendships as the days passed. I honestly can't recommend it highly enough! Every single one of us left excited about being able to book our next trip. It was genuinely life affirming.

The entire experience was very satisfying and rewarding. Ian, our guide was very encouraging, supporting and took real good care of us at every step , giving us good tips and sharing his knowledge. We are not the fittest , but Ian and the whole group encouraged us and we completed the National 3 Peaks in 3 days successfully. Darren , our bus driver was also very courteous , supportive and funny. The Hotel accomodation and transportation arrangements were perfect. It was indeed very satisfying and rewarding experience. Keep up the good work. I would highly recommend Skyhook as a company for your adventure holiday.

Amazing experience. Our guide Christele was a inpiring lady, full of enthusiasm and information for this trip. This particular week proved very difficult due to the weather but she was "on the ball" the whole time...truly a pleasure to have been in her company.
Organisation excellent. Food and accommodations all good (a couple of cold showers) but supply/demand in remote locations governed this.
On a downside...I think the fitness level needs to be emphasized......
Would definitely choose this company again.

Had an awesome experience, first class guide, overall we were lucky with weather and wind direction, so got to solo sail and raft sail the canoes on Loch Ness, which was something I'd never done before. Food each meal time was thoughtfully prepared and plentiful. Our camp spots were simply magical, especially the Faraway Tree beach, where we had an early morning dip in Loch Ness.
Travelled on: Canoe & Wild Camp Across Scotland
Fantastic does not adequately describe how great this trip is . The scenery, the food, wild camping and the two guides geoff and James are second to none. They made it fun interesting and made us feel safe the whole trip . Weather was mixed. Food was plentiful and beautifully cooked . If James ever decides to change career a job as a chef would be no problem to him.
100% recommend this trip . Don't overpack as dry bag has your tent sleeping mat and has to hold sleeping bag as well as bag for personal stuff .pic of orange dry bag attached for ref
The group worked together on the portage which can be hard going but I would do it all again in a heartbeat
Travelled on: Canoe Across Scotland
Just completed this trip and absolutely loved it . James and Geoff were so professional and put everyone at ease.Everyone bonded quickly and the scenery was spectacular, weather was a bit mixed , food was amazing and plenty of it . Hard going at times, definitely not easy but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Don’t overpack just bring the essentials and you will have the time of your life .
Travelled on: Canoe Across Scotland
Where do I begin, James and Geoff were brilliant not only on the water but in the kitchen , I kept looking for Gordon Ramsay , scenery was outstanding, plenty of people write about the trip , but whether I was just lucky with the group of people I met , as they made the trip for me , if you want to see a nice chunk of Scotland from the water then this is for you , the lochs the canals , wild camping and carrying everything you need , even the portering was enjoyable, good waterproofs minimum kit as there isn’t much space in the dry bag by the time your tent and mat are in .AWESOME Do It 😊😊😊

What a brilliant experience this was! I have recently returned from 4 days of canoeing and wild camping across Scotland from Fort William to inverness. This was such an adventure and I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects... The camping , comradery, canoeing and indeed Sailing as loch ness itself being like an inland sea allows sails to be used. The scenery was as expected breath taking and the instructors Geoff and James were superb and provided a safe and fun experience. All in all this was one of the best holidays I have ever had and will be booking something similar soon! A++

Finished the adventure 4 days ago, missing the group, such good company and camaraderie. The canoe adventure was an experience not to be missed and has given me an appetite to try similar holidays in the near future. All of us I think, were out of our comfort zones but grew as a group. We just got better!! Upshot is, it was fantastic. Thanks to our guides, James and Geoff for looking after us and preparing some hearty, camp food
Travelled on: Canoe Across Scotland
I had a fantastic time, Mark our guide was excellent and very experienced about the route and area. Please don't take this trip lightly you need to be fit to get up those mountains and be prepared to rough it, the accommodation on the first night was basic.
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
Wonderful experience..Mark our guide super..full of knowledge and a perfect gentleman. Well organised . Memories of a lifetime .
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
Overall a great trip with a knowledgeable, pleasant guide (Mark). The group worked well together and had many laughs and plenty of fun and drinks in the evenings.
Accomodation was as expected apart from the first night when there were no spaces between the beds. Other nights were bunks which are fine when sharing with strangers.
Breakfasts were ok, though no porridge, just mainly cereals, bread, jam, juice and coffee.
We could have done with an extra 15 mins for breakfast, as 30 mins was tight. We had plenty of long breaks during the day and often finished early afternoon so there would have been time.
Dinners were good 3 of 4 nights. The 2nd vegetarian curry was poor.
I would recommend taking energy bars and protein bars if that's your thing. The huts en route tended to have crisps and chocolate, not for me as I'm an athlete :)
I found the attitude of Tom (on arrival) somewhat condescending. My bag was weighed in at 12kg (fine for me) but I was told it was too heavy, then asked what was in it and was there anything that could be removed. No thought was given as to my fitness level or what prep I had done. I found the hiking quiet easy even though we started at 7am and had 3 heavy nights of apres hiking. Another experienced hiker who prefers to hike without poles was told "on your head be it" when he declined to take the poles offered. This minor criticism did not in any way ruin the trip. In fact we had a few laughs about it on the way round.

It has been one of the best adventures I have ever been to. Organisation, team, scenery, the group we had - everything was exceptional. Please pass on my thanks to everyone involved - drivers, organisers, refuge owners and everyone who made this happened for us.
But the ones to mention specifically - our guides!!! Without them this would not happened at all!
Gregory (our main guide) was an absolutely incredible person to be hiking with. He was so knowledgeable, supporting, an ultimate leader and such an inspiration! He made us feels looked after and safe all the time. He was always around to motivate and to answer any question. The wealth of knowledge he has about the mountains and his love to the nature is absolutely brilliant! I was the slowest person in the group and constant support I felt from Gregory is priceless. I never felt left behind or being a bother to others. He made me feel relaxed and guided and I have enjoyed every second of the trip.
Tom (he was shadowing on this trip) was an absolute legend. Tom has stayed with us when my partner and I were behind the whole group. He adjusted his pace to our, was always nearby and same time we felt we are totally nailing it. Tom and his relaxed nature were extremely helpful to raise our motivation. Not to mention the Cheese Jokes - I think this must be a part of the tour as it certainly lifted spirits and helped me personally in moments where I felt really tired. Tom has really was more of a coach rather than a guide on this tour - he sure gave us a huge confidence boost.
Both our guides and the whole team were amazing and caring. The love to nature everyone we met shares is so vivid! Mountains have long been my love and after this trip it is safe to say this love deepened and grown even more.
Accommodation were lovely, food was great, the chat we had at meal times and during the day was just as wholesome as the hiking and nature itself.
Thank you Gregory & Tom for this unforgettable experience. x

The Alps are purely amazing. Although the 4 days starts quite slowly it's a great adventure over tough terrain with absolutely beautiful scenery. Staying at 3 amazing refuges the evenings are an opportunity to reflect and discuss the days events. Both Grigor and Tom were very informative with routine updates on what we were doing as well as great information regarding the walks, area and surroundings. Both were great guides and were a pleasure to spend time with. Overall a great trip and I will definitely be coming back to the Alps again. 👏

The trip was everything I expected and more. Grigor and Tom were absolutely amazing guides, really looking after a mixed ability group with the highest standards and regard. Grigor had a world of knowledge to share with us which he did in a very friendly and inviting way. He explained what we were doing and why, which actually added to the enjoyment of the trip. Accommodation was lovely and food was different but nice. I have already started to look at booking the Matahorn trip and would certainly look to see if I could get Grigor again as my guide, he was genuinely that good.
Overall, I have a wonderful experience that has wet my appetite now. Would highly recommend this trip and Grigor to anyone wanting to do something like this.

Looking forward to booking another trip, keep up the good work.👍👍

It felt like a true adventure - would highly recommend.

This trip was amazing. Weather was mix but Robson did explain to us the options depending on bad weather.
Wet tent on bad weather was not the best, but try to have it drying when possible. Food suitable for the activity we were doing. It was a good group to be with.
It will be good to have a meeting the day before to be able to prepare bags properly and information if weather change.

An excellent few days in Taghazout bay. The Riad was a great base. Courtney and the staff are very welcoming, the traditional Moroccan dinners were delicious and the rooms were comfortable. The roof terrace was ideal for yoga and it was good to start each day with yoga and to have a relaxing yoga after surfing. I was new to surfing but soon felt more confident to have a go with Haitam’s teaching. A great mix of activities with opportunities to visit a spa, souk and eat out.
Travelled on: Surfing, Yoga & Meditation in Taghazout Bay
Wow! Just got back from this trip and it was superb. I travelled with a friend and We loved it. The riad, the accommodation and the homemade Moroccan food was perfect. (The cats and dogs around the place were a great addition too) Courtney was very friendly and looked after us very well. Haitam our surf instructor was great, enthusiastic, supportive and took care of us and our needs very well. We ate out a few times too and the places chosen were great too. I enjoyed the morning yoga sessions more than I thought I would too…it was lovely to be doing that up on the roof terrace. I am someone who struggled with some of the stretches as I’m not too flexible but this was ok and I was very much a beginner to surfing and this was ok too…I may not have made it up to standing on the surf board but I did make progress each day and I very much enjoyed the fun and experience.

Beautiful part of the world to canoe.
More isolated than the Great Glen which I did 2 years ago. So peaceful with just our small group (4 plus Chucky our guide) and the wildlife for much of the trip.
The weather was not kind to us. Rain I can cope with (waterproofs held up as did the supplied tent), but it was a shame we had headwind so much and couldn’t get as far on some days as planned.
I think this was Skyhook’s first time doing this route and there’s probably improvements that could be made in some of the fallback plans.
I loved the mix of loch, river and sea. We had a reprieve in the weather for our last day off Arisaig and the skerries. Truly stunning scenery, beaches, blue skies and such clear, turquoise waters.
Chucky looked after us, cooked us hot, tasty meals, kept us upbeat with his cheery banter and encouraged us to fight the damned headwinds.
Definitely an experience.
Notes: make sure your waterproofs are good. 3 season sleeping bag is recommended for staying warm at night. Midge net was only needed on one day, but was a life saver. Don’t forget to put suncream on backs of hands for the sunny days. Take lots of photos as the scenery is seriously stunning.
Travelled on: West Coast of Scotland Canoe Adventure
We did this trip from the 8/6-13/6 2024.
Chucky, not Richard and certainly not Dick was both a very capable and very amiable guide.
Just the 4 of us on the trip, all very diverse as individuals but he did well to blend us and even had me talking to the wife about direction and not arguing. Well not too much.
The weather was truly awful on day one and indeed other parts of the week.
But, and this is important, Chucky managed the trip with alternative achievable routes where others may have given up. He did so to accommodate all and despite the fact that the effect on him was no less than we. It was a great do.
The scenery was as always in the highlands on the trips he organises just amazing and despite the hard going af times well worth every bit of effort.
The food was good and seemed never ending. As a trip I would recommend this trip without hesitation. But I’d suggest July onwards.

We had a brilliant weekend on this trip with Tom and Paul as our guides. Both are clearly very experienced and we were in safe hands the whole weekend. In addition, they were both wonderful hosts and gave us lots of information about the area. They were able to assess our group’s capabilities and take us on via Ferrata routes that were well suited to everyone’s abilities. We climbed in a gorge, next to a waterfall, up to a cave and were treated to the most spectacular views. To top it off, the food at the accommodation was delicious. We’ll definitely be back and would recommend this trip to anyone who’s keen for an adventure!

We had a fabulous 4 day kayaking, hiking and wild camping trip with Mathilda from Nordic Paddling
She was a great guide, fun , enthusiastic and very knowledgeable.
I traveled with four friends and we were joined by 2 others. Great company for a memorable trip.
The only thing that would have improved our experience was the weather. It rained a lot, but we were prepared .
I can highly recommend the trip

Loved it. A great adventure in spectacular scenery with lots of weather! I've returned happily exhausted and better for it. Mathilde, our guide, is smart, fun and knowledgeable. She encouraged us to experience all nature has to offer in this dramatic landscape always with a keen eye on our safety. I'd say - pay attention to the Nordic Paddling packing list and throw yourself in to the trip with gusto.

The trip to Peru was an unforgettable adventure . It was a wonderful time with new people. Beautiful routes, wonderful nature and a lot of time spent outdoors. However, it was a physically and mentally demanding trip. The location of Cusko and the whole route high in the mountains is certainly a challenge for people without climbing preparation. It is necessary to prepare physically for daily hiking of 20 km in the mountains. Please take into account your health condition during this expedition. We were looked after by an experienced guide and we had a wonderful chef who served us balanced meals 3 times a day. After this trip I can say that the Peruvian cuisine is my favourite. The only drawback of this trip is the lack of hot water where we slept. After such an exhausting trip it is very important. These are not places where there is no water, but I think that the owner of the company Alpaca expedition does not invest money to have it there. Hygienic conditions were in bad condition, lack of soap and hot water in
these places is in my opinion unacceptable in the 21st century and in that trip wher hot water was promised. Part of this is was amazing.
Travelled on: Salkantay Trek To Machu Picchu
I had a fantastic time. We got mixed weather but that made it more of an adventure Kayaking over rough water. The guide Mathias was great, showing us all the sights and cooking great food at camp.

This trip was AMAZING! The treks were well-planned out and varied, so each day was a new adventure, and our guide Andrej was simply the best! He's super organized, knows the terrain and weather really well, is well-prepared with everything you need, and is also flexible in responding to changing weather. Slovakia is truly beautiful and the people are lovely! And my trekking group was just the most fun-loving and awesome group of people! Would have loved to try more local foods though!

Absolutely breathtaking scenery. Wonderful from beginning to end. There is NO better way to see the fjords and enjoy all nature has to offer. Our host was Mass and he ensured pace was well matched to our abilities and comfort and gave us opportunities to share with the cooking which gave us an opportunity to bond. I would highly recommend to anyone who appreciates an off the beaten track experience. The base and camp were perfect in the heart of nature, we had an amazing group !!! Inspiring trip and truely magical experience

This was such a fantastic experience.
Although it was challenging, the group was so pleasant and enjoyable. The laughs and giggles, campfires, chats under the clothing lines and fighting midges made it hysterical and a wonderful trip to remember.
Our guide Rory was great and made us some spectacular meals throughout. Felt pampered with all our 5 star meals.
Such a brilliant time!
Travelled on: Canoe & Wild Camp Across Scotland
This trip was amazing!! Tough at times (depending on the weather!) and you do need a decent level of fitness to be able to canoe for up to 7 hours a day and to manage some heavy lifting during the portages but totally worth it and so rewarding! The scenery is just stunning and the wild life breathtaking - seeing ospreys and sea eagles up close was an unforgettable experience. Our guide Rory was just perfect for this trip - a more affable, easy going, helpful and totally professional guide you could not find - I felt totally safe and reassured by his calming presence! Food was amazing too - hand cooked breakfasts and dinners (lots of snacks!) which catered to all tastes so could not fault this trip at all - just do it, you won't regret it!!!

I had a brilliant adventure canoeing across Scotland. Of course some of the best bits was the scenery and being on water. However the people made this a great, enjoyable trip. Robson, James and Dave were great guides / instructors / Leaders. They also made sure everyone enjoyed the trip with good, tasty and plentiful food.
I have already recommended this to my friend for his daughter.

Skyhook was great at communicating, as I had to change plans a few times.
The trip went without hitch and the team on the ground were accommodating to, my only gripe was the team in Imili did not remind you of key things like take your flip-flops to the refuge, had to borrow some. Don't forget a head torch and times of pick up and leaving is never volunteered you have to ask what and when things are happening.
The guides are great and local with massive amount of knowledge, there nit keen on small groups as less tips and they live for tips.
I will use them again for my next trip.
Travelled on: Hike Mount Toubkal (4,167m)
The trip was tough and not for the faint-hearted. I am a fit 63-year-old female.
The right up needs to express how hard this is. Out of the 14, all found it challenging both mentally and physically. We all struggled in one way or another.
Wild camping should be described to a novice as to what it entails.
In a masochistic way I enjoyed it. It took me out of my comfort zone. A difficult challenge which my friend and I successfully completed in fact we shone and are both very proud of our achievement. We deserve a medal! 🏅

Canyoning was the highlight the extreme option is excellent.
The guides for rafting, kayaking and canyoning were experienced, competent and good fun. Eva organised zip lining while were there which is also highly recommended.

Hotel and catering were unexpectedly good too.
Definitely recommend this experience

A fantastic trip from start to finish! I would highly recommend it for anyone seeking an adventure! Akis is an excellent guide! He set a good pace and I found he took breaks at just the right times on the trip to the hut. The food and welcome at the hut was excellent. Early the following morning we began the hike to the summit. It is steep but very manageable. The scramble to the top is exciting and adds a different challenge to the whole experience. The views on the way up were spectacular! Akis, Alex and team were all brilliant. Thank you, Akis and team for making this such a memorably exciting trip!

Akis and his fellow guides were extremely patient and professional and succeeded in getting the entire group to the Mytikas summit. Two of our party were ill prepared mentally for the final scramble so maybe it should be mentioned in the tour description that a good head for heights is required for that final climb.

Just like to say a massi e thankyou for thei trip, absolutely loved every minute, the guides were great and always there to help. We made the summit, which was lucky due to the weather, the group.we had was great, had a great laugh and met some amazing people. Thanks to everyone for making a solo traveler so welcome. Thanks to Skyhook for putting a great trek, but special thanks to Akis, Alex and the other guides. For making this trup unforgettable.
Travelled on: Mount Olympus Hike (2,919m)
The hike is beautiful, very nice scenery. The climb to the summit in the second day is rather challenging - in particular if you have vertigo :)
The hut is ok, but basic (only one shower, cold water, basic meals, but plenty of snacks).
I give only 3* because of the guide - Akis - who was not people-oriented (almost no information provided, no attention to the specificities of the group, always walking ahead without adapting to the pace of the group). I felt rushed the entire hike, did not have time to stop for a moment to take some pictures.
In the refuge there was no shower and toilet available. The least they could do was give water. Lunch the next day was also very poor.
Travelled on: Mount Olympus Hike (2,919m)
Thank you Skyhook for the organising a truly amazing experience. 10/10
Our driver Carl 10/10
Most importantly our mountain guide Russel 20/10. Off the scale. A master of his profession. Inspirational leadership skills he kept us safe, motivated and above all has given me the confidence to tackle future mental and physical challenges.
Thanks again

Travelled on: National 3 Peaks Challenge (24 Hours)
What an exhilarating experience. We booked for 8 of us to complete the 3peaks challenge in 24 hours.
Our guide Russ from the first minute put us at ease with his knowledge, clear explanations and passion he showed. Russ kept us safe and at the same time really pushed us all to get the best out of each of us during the 3peaks challenge. Highly recommended.
A quick shout out to Carl the driver who was really knowledgeable, kept us on track and accommodating all of us through what was an unforgettable experience for us all. Thank you Sky Hook Adventure and Mountaineerin.
Travelled on: National 3 Peaks Challenge (24 Hours)
What an amazing experience. Do not underestimate the challenge, the 24 will require a great deal of fortitude and the ability to work as team.
The shining light of the challenge has to be focused upon. Our guide Russ was a true gentleman in all respects. His patience and continual support made the weekend for me. Without him and his ability to read the needs of the group, it would have a been a very different experience. A shout out to our driver Carl also has to be given, for a tough shift and informative stories.
I thoroughly recommend you request both parties if booking. Thank you so much.

Fantastic trip! Our guides Mel and Mike were very knowledgeable and planned great itineraries each day.
Accommodation was clean and dry and of a good standard. Good facilities at the campsite.

Well organised, interesting trip, Mel and Mike were excellent guides. We were lucky with the weather. Fabulous kayak to Old Harty Rocks,.

The trip was amazing and incredibly well organised. The local guides were so knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely consider booking another trip with Skyhook in the future!
Travelled on: Mt Toubkal & Sahara Desert Adventure
This trip was like a dream! If you've never been to Morocco, this trip is a very good introduction to the country, the culture, the food and the people. The trek to Mt. Toubkal was beautiful. The trek on the second day was technical and slippery, but so memorable to start walking in the darkness and seeing the sunrise over the mountains. When visiting Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou we had a really good guide, who took us around the kasbah and shared interesting facts about the area. Definitely recommend to get a guide! The guest house at Dades Valley was one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed in, a wonderful respite after the spartan conditions of the mountain refuge. The camel ride to and from the desert was a great experience (I didn't know though that it is possible to get motion sickness riding a camel). Be prepared for a long drive back to Marrakech on the last day. It's a beautiful drive but long.
Travelled on: Mt Toubkal & Sahara Desert Adventure
Excellent and Wonderful guides, but unfortunately had to wait till the last minute for information. Pictures don’t do any justice to the trip and the long journey on the last day is very exhausting after the hike and in the heat.

I cannot recommend this trip and Skyhook enough. The guides were fantastic and made this a really wonderful experience. I will definitely use Skyhook again!!
Travelled on: Hike Mount Toubkal (4,167m)
Amazing tour! Stunning scenery! The people you are with can make or break a tour but we lucked out since everyone got on and helped each other out, but the star of the show was our guide Matilda, very calm, always smiling, knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I would add that you need so be fairly fit to do the hiking and kayaking, myself and others on the tour gave its difficulty 7.5-8/10 so I would recommend training before hand.
Travelled on: Hike, Kayak and Wild Camp the Norwegian Fjords
A great trip. 10/10. Excellent value for money and Simon our Mountaineer leader was superb. Entertaining from start to finish, he gave us great advice on navigating the 3 peaks. Also kudos to Darren for his superb driving skills getting us to and from each location safely and in good time. Overall a really enjoyable trip - with a great group of like minded people - good banter and great hiking. All 3 peaks were very different experiences and challenging in different ways. Well recommended.

Had a great trip, run by Abdul our guide and Hassan our cook. We stayed in a nice/clean hostel on the first night (which we had to ourselves) in Imlil before embarking on the first day of trekking to the refuge camp, which took about 6 hours. The team put on all meals, which were tasty and big portions. Don't expect luxury in the refuge camp, as it consists of big/cramped dorms, but there's nothing you can really do about that (unless you camp) and it's only for a short nights stay as you're up at 3AM the next morning. The hike to the summit on day 3 of the trek is tiring but really rewarding. I didn't need any crampons etc as it was May and about 99% of snow was gone. It is cold though even at this time of year, so definitely wrap up and remember your head torch (which I didn't) for the morning trek! The views were incredible throughout. It took about 3-4 hours to summit, and then about 2.5 hours on way back down to refuge camp. You feel a bit of shortness in your breath towards top, but it's manageable and shouldn't put you off. The remaining trek back to Imlil from the refuge camp took about 4-5 hours. Day 3 is a tough day of about 12 -13 hours of trekking.in total, but is very doable! Finally, you spend a night at the original hostel before heading back to Marrakech on Day 4.
All in all, the team from Atlas Vertical Travel who run the actual hike were amazing! I'd highly recommend this tour and Skyhook for facilitating. Will definitely use Skyhook again for future adventures and Atlas Vertical if and when I return to Morocco. Huge shout out to Abdul and Hassan for being knowledgeable and accomodating throughout. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Oh woow. It was so amazing trip. Our guide Abdul was excellent along with the cook. The whole team was amazing to be honest. Well organised from start to finish 👏 👌

This trek was amazing. The local company Inkayni Peru Tours that we were booked with couldn't have done more for us. Ronald, our tour guide was so knowledgeable and extremely friendly and accommodating the whole time. He made us feel at ease straight away and helped us get through the tough parts. The chef, Mario was outstanding. The food was so tasty and there was plenty of it! All the porters were great and friendly as well. Everything was so much better than we expected so we're thrilled with the overall experience. Would highly recommend.

A great trip stripping life down to the basics. As guides, James and Robson provided a excellent balance of care whilst allowing you to stretch your boundaries, they were also great company! Food good too!
Travelled on: Canoe Across Scotland
What a fantastic trip led by excellent leaders James and Robson. The knowledge , skill, judgement and hosting expertise of these two gentlemen was exceptional. The group found the journey a brilliant experience both challenging and enjoyable in equal measure and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this trip to anyone considering a canoe and wild camp experience in Scotland. Expectations were certainly exceeded!

Konstantinos’s level of service, local knowledge and expertise were second to none, and he planned every detail meticulously. As a nervous car passenger, he put my mind at ease and ensured that we arrived our destination safely, with plenty of stops on the way. We stayed at some lovely guest houses, which I wouldn’t have been able to even begin to know how to book, and he chose some excellent, varied food for us to try every day. I’m particularly interested in wildlife, and Kostas was able to answer all of my questions. Oh, and the scenery was spectacular!
Travelled on: Hike & Raft the Vikos-Aoös Circuit
Fantastic trip all round. The hiking days were amazing, I loved the rafting as it was a chilled version of rafting and food and wine were fantastic everywhere. Greece is a beautiful country and I got to experience it with a great group. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Kostas!! The only thing that could have been improved slightly was the transport, there was only 4 of us in the group and a car isn’t very comfortable on long journeys with 3 adults in the back!

Fantastic trip, our guide was lovely and everything was so well organised. Highly recommend to anyone!

Skyhook..welldone! Another superb trip we'll ran we'll organised and overall just great. If I had to write one criticism it would be the slow response to my texts for me to gain real time weather/ kit requirements from the guide over here. Nevertheless, I will book with you again and again.

OMG, what an amazing trip. So many memories
Cannot speak highly enough of the guides, Larcen and Mohamed. So friendly and patient. Constantly ensuring we were all happy and enjoying ourselves.
Ahmed - his cooking was fantastic. He was also so happy, and looked having a joke with the group
Mohamed the mule man was so nice, he really treated the mules well.
The guest house we staying in Imil was lovely. Really was a great trip, totally recommend.
Wouldn't hesitate to book with Skyhook again

A fantastic experience in 5 days of glorious sunshine. Our 2 leaders Sam & Pete were the best one could ask for, plenty of food & snacks. I booked a solo place and the 9 other canoeists were very friendly and good fun. If anyone is thinking of booking this trip I would highly recommend it 👍

We recently hiked the Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu and, wow! What an incredible experience.
The hike is tougher than the itinerary suggests but so rewarding!
Our tour was operated by Alpaca Expeditions. Our head guide, Joyce, was the best. He's so knowledgeable and friendly. I suffered with some altitude sickness on one of the days and he was fantastic at spotting the signs and looking after me. He made sure I made it to the summit of the salkantay pass with the rest of the group.
The hike is great fun, despite being challenging and it introduces you to local culture, with the most breathtaking views. I cannot recommend the hike enough.
Photos cannot do justice to the beauty of Machu Picchu. We loved the guided tour and the views were phenomenal.
The only disappointing aspect of the trip was the administrative side of the company (Alpaca Expeditions). The admin staff at the office are quite rude and difficult to deal with. It's unclear whether this is part of a language barrier or if they're just difficult in general, so just something to be aware of.
It certainly didn't spoil our trip and we cannot rate our guide from Alpaca highly enough.
This trek is absolutely a must-do!

One of the best trips I’ve been on from start to finish. The Nordic Paddling guides were absolutely amazing, super friendly, knowledgeable and all round awesome 🙌🏻

Great trip. Akis and his co-guides were supportive and kept a large group safe, whilst giving us autonomy to enjoy our individual experiences. Be well prepared with cold and wet weather gear for this hike, and remember that if snow is around sunscreen and sunglasses are absolutely necessary!!

This was not a 24 hour challenge from the start. I trained very hard, took time of work to train, recieved stitches after a fall durin training , and spent a lot if money to ensure I was prepared. We were joined by a group of 6 on a company bonding trip who had not trained at all. However knowing that if you could not keep the pace of 4/5 km hr you would be asked to go back down. This did not happen and we were told to keep the pace of the slowest walker,as a result out route up snowdonia was changed to the easier route without consultation and the 24 hours was not achievable as the guide did not follow the guidance given by the company that we adhered to. Complete waste of time as we had already achieved all 3 hills. Thus was a race against the clock. Would not recommend this company if you would like to complete in 24 hours. It was a joke !
Reply by Mountaineerin Ltd:
Hi Joanne, Simon here from Mountaineerin. We're very sorry for your negative experience on this challenge. Although Skyhook and myself take all measures possible to provide the necessary information and ensure that participants are fully prepared for the pace of this challenge, it is unfortunately never 100% possible to vet those who sign on.
We've been running this trip for years and have slowly and carefully refined the details to reach a point where we have an extremely high customer satisfaction level. This said, group dynamics in these open groups are difficult to manage and there are rare instances where things don't go according to plan. We take feedback like this very seriously and discussed the trip in detail with your guide.
It was an unfortunate situation and decisions were made to get the best outcome given the circumstances. We're very sorry that this meant you and your team did not complete the challenge on time. We can understand your disappointment given that you were well prepared.
I'm glad that we had a chance to talk about this over a call and I appreciate your time in sharing your experience.

Had a great time on the trip, really enjoyed the challenge that each mountain presented and met some amazing people within my group. Massive thank you the drivers, particularly Steve, for being all-round great guys and getting us to each mountain promptly to be able to complete the challenge within the 24 hour time limit. Looking forward to the next challenge we decide to tackle

Overall, the expedition was excellent in just about every respect. (I've been on several before including Kili). Our Guide was very helpful, considerate, supportive, professional and courteous .. we had full condfidence in him. He also spoke English essentials. All the components of the trek slotted in to place nicely - there were zero hiccups in all the logistics, with the following minor exceptions:
- Hotel pickup location was vague / confusing.
- our Guide was supposed to be Lahoucienne, but swapped to Jawad without notice or explanation. (Jawad was excellent).
- the price for double room en suite at Imlil was excessive, I felt.
- some small bread-snacks for summit day would have been appreciated.
- mountain weather forecast would have been appropriate re. boots/crampons/layers etc.
- toilet block at bunkhouse needs some TLC and upgrading. It's not that remote, so improved facilities not impossible. Better loos, hot water, loo paper, showers, etc.
- no advisory on loo paper disposal etc?
Other than that a great trip at a fantastic price. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Jawad was a fantastic guide with a huge amount of local knowledge and a calm demeanour. Thank you for getting us safely to the top of Toubkal and back down again. We had everything from 30 degree sunshine to snow and the views from the top of Toubkal were absolutely worth the hike!
Skyhook and Atlas Vertical's organisation was seamless and every part of the trip ran well; from the airport pickup through to meeting the other guests, accommodation and food.
I can't wait to sign up to another adventure soon.

What a fantastic five days canoeing across Scotland - the scenery was stunning and the group were fantastic. Chuckie and James, our guides were absolutely superb, extremely knowledgeable about the area and experts in all aspects of canoeing - I learned a lot from them. The wild camping was an experience in itself and the spots we camped were lovely. The food provided by Good to Go Adventures (Chuckie) was really good and plentiful. All in all a fabulous experience with lots of wonderful memories to keep.

What a wonderful trip! I was anxious at first travelling on my own but once I met the group I felt at ease. We canoed through some beautiful scenery, camped and swam in the wild and had such a great time getting to know each other. A trip like this is great if you are travelling solo but want to meet others.
I felt safe and looked after at all times. We had plenty of food and drink provided.
I definitely had some aches and pains on the way but I surprised myself being able to manage the distance.

Absolutely loved this trip, one of my best holidays, it has left me wanting more adventure!
Felt safe under the guidance of Sam. His freshly cooked evening meals were delicious and healthy. The rowing was easier than anticipated although the weather was certainly in our favour with sun and a light breeze most days. There is opportunity for a pint and wind down most days which was unexpected but welcome. You have to embrace the camping aspect and make the most of what the Scottish weather throws at you. But dont let this hold you back. We were lucky enough to catch the Northern Lights from Loch Ness... what a very memorable and fantastic trip. Suitable for all ages, all long as you have a postive can do attitude.
Travelled on: Canoe Across Scotland
Well organised, good equipment, good food both in quantity and quality. Logistics were well organised with no issues.
The trip does involve wild camping with minimal services although there is access to showers and toilets on the canal.
You do also need to portage the canoes and equipment around the locks on the canal, this is made less arduous if all in the group "pull their weight"
The scenery is fantastic.
Sam, our guide was great. Professional and skilled. He had a great sense of humour and was very knowledgeable about the local area. He kept us safe and on track.
I would recommend Good2go for this type of trip and would go back to them should I be looking for a similar adventure.

Epic. Solo trek EBC via Gokyo Lakes. It all started with a welcome dinner in KAthmandu. Hem of Freedom Adventures and the supporting staff (i called him The Young Guy) became my bros for the next 17 days, they really looked after me like family. Everything was planned out so detail - from acclimatisation days to pacing, from diamox to protein/chocolate bars anything you overlooked before coming over, they had it covered.
The scenery en route to EBC was amazing everywhere to look, the smell of pine trees and fresh air and Hem's knowledge of the mountains just can't be googled. It was colder than I anticipated inside your room as you go higher up and nearer to EBC. Yeah, i think words can't really describe the whole thing, go see for yourself. Will definitely think about another route next year.

Chucky & Billy were absolutely fantastic as guides & as people.

Loved the trip. Good 2 Go guides Sam and Robson were fantastic. I've never canoed before and wild camping wasn't something that I had done for over forty years. Sam and Robson were inspiring and knowledgeable, making sure every duckling was okay! Food was delicious and plentiful. I'm local to the highlands and wanted to appreciate them from a different view. Was not disappointed. Would give more than 5 stars if possible. (And I was questioning why I'd booked it, it's so far out of my comfort zone!)

Without doubt the best value for money trip for I have ever taken, outstanding. Having never booked an organised tour - always preferring to travel independently, I had zero expectations.
The differing accommodation in various locations was next level, from riads in Marrakech to a house crafted out of local earth in Ouled Driss, & an incredible earth built tent out in the Sahara. All meals were included & it was such delicious, freshly prepared authentic food, along with airport transfers, travel to & from the desert & all topped off with my very own camel & local Berber guide with as much mint tea & spiced Moroccan coffee as I could drink.
There was no-one else travelling in this particular group which was cool as I’m happy to fly solo & the trip still ran regardless, total Queen of the Desert vibes. Marrakech was suitably crazy & chaotic, the drive out to the desert was breathtaking. The desert was everything I expected & more, endless dunes & mind blowing sunsets, sunrises & night skies. The desert accommodation was far better than I was expecting, yes aside from more than adequate accommodation, there’s a dining / chill out space, toilets & much needed showers…a proper bona fide oasis away from the heat of the midday sun.
It was unseasonably hot in May so we cut the desert trip short and the alternative provided was incredible, an absolutely stunning hotel with a pool & private terrace with views of the mountains in Nkob. We then moved on to another hotel & I was offered an afternoon of quad biking but I was happy chilling by the pool. The unesco site Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou we visited on our return journey was like stepping back in time but a mecca for tourists!
I was so well looked after throughout the entire trip, I felt super safe & so could just kick back, relax and soak up the experience & most importantly I feel that I left having a real sense of what the real Morocco has to offer.
Thank you Jawad & Lahouceine ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent trip. Our guide Mohammed was great, very helpful and made sure we were well looked after. He spent lots of time helping us learn Arabic. Imlil accomodation was very nice, and was nice to get back to, to recharge after climbing the mountain. The mountain refuge is basic but does the job. The food was good throughout. There were only two very minor issues. Because there were only two of us on the trip they said there would be no mules and we would have to carry everything ourselves. That was fine weight wise, but we planned our bag sizes around having a mule bag so it was tight for space. The price they initially tried to charge for sleeping bags was about twice what skyhook advertises, but we challenged them and paid roughly the advertised price of £5 (60MAD) each. So not a big issue. May is a good time of year for it. It's warm most of the way up. Only a few frozen snowdrifts at the top. The view from the top at sunrise was amazing. I definitely highly recommend this trip.

Our 4 day Inca jungle trek tour with Wilbert was absolutely incredible! I wanted to see Machu Picchu but I’m a pretty novice hiker and was also worried about mountain biking down switchbacks. Wilbert immediately put me at ease. He coached my group of 3 through the biking and made sure we went at a pace that was comfortable for us, checking in frequently to make sure we were okay. He took my GoPro and took some awesome footage of us going down the mountain. The rafting portion was so much fun and Wilbert made sure to capture photos of us as we set off down the river. We were most nervous about trekking with our 10kg bags on the trail. Wilbert secured trekking poles for me last minute and again allowed us to go at our (slow) pace. Every time we wanted to stop we learned more about the plants and animals around us as well as other historical facts which we thoroughly enjoyed. At lunch on day 2 he ran to secure hammocks for us and always looked to make sure we had everything we needed and more. On day 3 he waited for us at the bottom of the Zipline, videoing our arrivals and getting us the best seats on the bus for our drive to the trekking point. He again went at our pace and stopped to point out important sights. Knowing I get bus sick, he got me the seat next to the driver on the bus ride up to Machu Picchu on day 4. He showed us all of the best spots to take pictures and provided so much information that really helped us appreciate the importance and beauty of Machu Picchu. Wilbert made our experience so special and I am so grateful for his kindness and expertise. I would highly recommend this trip and ask for Wilbert as your guide!

We had a phenomenal trip with Albania Rafting Group. Alma and her team went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed the trip and got to experience the many treasures of Albania. A special mention must go to Arti who really went above and beyond - even organising a cake for me on the excursion that took place on my birthday.
The trip is really well organised and the team are available if you have any questions or doubts. Our highlight was rafting through Osumi Canyon but every excursion was thoroughly enjoyable. The guides are all clearly very skilled and we felt we were in capable hands on the rafting and kayaking excursions - thank you to Bastian & Aldo!
The food throughout the trip was delicious and especially at Castle Park which is renowned for the cuisine. The Albanian people are also some of the friendliest and most hospitable people we've ever met.
Albania really is an underrated destination and we will definitely be returning - when we do, we'll be using Albania Rafting Group again for sure!

It's taken me a long time to write this review due to still processing the experience. Our trip started off amazing, no complaints whatsoever. Our guide, chef and all other members of the team were super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed all the food and accomodation. On summit day, the experience was ruined. A member of our group wanted to head back to the refuge and our guide returned with her, handing over my friend and I to the group in front of us after agreeing it with their guide. Shortly after, we are getting abuse hurled at us from hikers from the group because we were speaking English. This was continuous shouting. To paint the picture, it was pitch black, super steep and rocky terrain that was hard to navigate and already in high altitude. A screaming match was the last thin we needed. Whilst this isn't the guide's fault, what happened next definitely was. Not only did they make no effort to help or defend us, they actually told me and my friend to separate from the group and go ahead by ourselves. Again we were still in the dark on a difficult and unfamiliar trail. The fact we were told, repeatedly, to proceed on our own shows that our safety was not a priority at all. Once the sun had risen, we did separate from the group as the abuse was still ongoing. A guide did come with us initially, not because they volunteered but because the group insisted whoever has agreed to take responsibility for my friend and I should leave their group. That guide left us shortly after and returned. We had no choice but to continue on our own which ultimately led to us going the wrong way multiple times and continuing beyond our capabilities and suffering extremely with the altitude. Honestly, the trip started so well and this day just ruined it completely. A better system needs to be put in place if some group members need to return, and everyone's safety should always be priority number 1.

Hi Morgan,
I'm very sorry to hear that this happened on summit night, especially since the trip was going so well. It's a rare situation where a guide needs to descend to support another trekker in need. Usually, in this case, there is a backup guide. We regret that this apparently was not the case on your trek. It sounds like a quick decision was made for the safety of the group and to give you and your partner a chance to continue up. We are very sorry to hear that the group you joined were disrespectful and that this was not handled better by the other guide.
We sincerely apologise for this experience and want you to know that we have addressed the issue with our team to ensure that there are better plans in place to manage this type of situation in the future. Thank you for your feedback

The trip organisation was very professional, the guides were fantastic getting the whole group up to the top. The accommodation was basic, but OK.
Food was plentiful, however apart from the first night vegetarians were not catered for separate from the meat eaters. Each meal comprised of a vegetable/salad dish with pasta, couscous or rice plus a meat dish, but nothing extra for a vegetarian. If this is the policy then perhaps vegetarians should be offered a small discount as they are not receiving the same quality of food.

Guides were amazing. Food was amazing. The mountain itself was stunning. Everything ran smoothly and without issue and the people were lovely.
Make sure that your fitness levels are suitable before committing (speaking from experience this is absolutely not the sort of hike you should be attempting with a pair of walking boots, a camel pack and a can-do attitude) but if you are capable, this is a wonderful tour to go on.

Fabulous trip. I was lucky enough to be part of a great group of 12 people, which added to the experience. But the local people that ran the trip in Marrakesh, Imlil and on the trek up to the refuge, and onwards to the summit of Toubkal, were excellent. The accommodation in Imlil was good, the food very nice (and very plentiful - if anything too much) and all the logistics worked very smoothly. The accommodation in the refuge is basic, as you would expect, but it was warm, the showers had very hot water and the toilets were better than I was expecting. The rooms you sleep in are very basic, and you lie extremely close to one another, so don't expect a good night's sleep. It all adds to the experience!
The guides that led us to the summit of Toubkal did a superb job. They judged the pace extremely well. It was very slow, although necessarily so to ensure we all got up ok - which we did. But a note of caution. If you are not used to hiking in high mountains, you may find this extremely tough. The terrain is harsh, you ascend and descend a lot and the high altitude may well cause you problems. You only find out what your altitude limit is when you reach it - in my case I was fine until I got to 4000m and then it became much harder. But we all have different limits, so it is very much a personal thing. Basically, my advice would be to make sure you are as prepared as you can be.
Overall a great experience. It was my first time on this kind of organised trip, as I normally self-guide, and I was very impressed. I would certainly use Skyhook again and would recommend this trip to others, subject to the caveat about being properly prepared.

A fantastic trip! Brilliant from the start when I was welcomed by Courtney the owner of Mint Surf. The Riad is beautiful, comfortable and the food is excellent but the thing that really made it special for me was the Mint surf team. Haitam and Emry created a positive team atmosphere, delivered excellent surf coaching and took really good care of everyone. We had fun, laughter and really challenged ourselves in the water. The yoga was superb both Evo and Georgia created new experiences for me from Yin Yoga to mediation, which I loved. I really recommend this trip.

This trip was just lovely! The Riad was beautiful and Courtney was welcoming and helpful the food was amazing. Surf school was fun and the instructors were friendly and fun to be with. Yoga and meditation sessions were calm and relaxing stetching all the muscles that ached from the surfing. Just such an incredible memorable experience, LOVED IT !😁🥰😁

The hiking trip was well organised and Lhouceine and his team did a super good job .
I was picked up as stated at exactly 8pm at the airport and headed straight to Imil .Accomodation was excellent and the food just awesome and in plenty .
Next few days were excellent as I attempted to go all the way up the summit Toubkal .
Everything is as described And the people are friendly .
The base camp Refuge de Toubkal is nice ...they have hot water showers And they look after you , just before you set of for summit at 3am .
All in all ....excellent hike

Absolutely terrible trip! Extremely disappointed as my trip was ruined by local negligence with regards to time keeping. Also additionally the locally only was interested in being paid tips. Very poor experience. I have been to Kilimanjaro and the Himalayas and they companies are much better for handling this type of trip. Currently stranded in Marrakesh airport and the local team have been useless.

Hi Callum, Lahouceine here from the local guiding team. I’m very sorry that you had any kind of negative experience with us. We take this type of feedback very seriously, especially since our trips generally receive amazing reviews (our Mt Toubkal trip is one of the most popular on Skyhook). I will be investigating the issue you raised around tips, you should definitely not have felt pressured to leave a tip and I apologise if the guide made you feel otherwise. My understanding is you felt the logistics on the trip, specifically the airport pick up was poor. I dealt with this issue personally and believe this occurred due to miscommunication that was beyond our control. Our pick up points are well described on the Skyhook platform and we haven’t had this issue before. Our team went to great lengths to find you and keep the trip on schedule. I apologise if you felt we could have done more on the logistical front.

This was amazing trip with my son!
The weather was quite changeable whilst we were there but the guide was constantly monitoring this and our safely came first.
The Mountain guide was brilliant, looking after us all the way.
Just an amazing experience, if you're thinking of doing it, just book it, you won't regret it!

Absolutely incredible experience! As a solo female traveler, I was initially nervous about exploring Morocco alone, but from the moment I arrived, I felt completely safe and supported. Climbing Toubkal was a highlight of my journey – the breathtaking views and sense of accomplishment were unforgettable. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. This trip was truly transformative, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone seeking adventure, culture, and unforgettable memories. Five stars all the way!

Brilliant trip with my son, we joined a group of 3 lads in their mid-40s and a lady sole traveller. We all got on fantastically and thoroughly enjoyed every part of the Mount Toubkal trip - fab value, never fitted so much into a long weekend. Whilst full sun and Sahara views would have been grand at the top, instead we far happier (after the event) with -10, deep snow and -22 chill factor 😊. The accommodation, meals, hospitality and guides all far exceeded expectations. We would definitely recommend this trip and indeed, we’ll be using Skyhook again - reliable, quality and value.

Everest Base Camp was my lifelong dream. For my 50th Birthday, I gifted myself this opportunity finally. After looking around at various companies, routes, tours, I finally settled on the Gokyo-Ri / Chola Pass / EBC route with Skyhook, and guided by Freedom Adventure. Prior to the trip, Freedom Adventure was quick in replying to questions, giving direction, and went above and beyond once landing in Kathmandu. My guide Asman, and Support Staff Benza became my family for the next 3 weeks, as we trekked across some amazing views and sites. As with many others, getting in to the mountains, was an adventure in and of itself, and I appreciate Freedom Adventure doing all they could, to make my time enjoyable, keep me informed, and finally getting to our destination. I was a solo trekker, and so may have gotten the royal treatment as I was the sole focus, and I appreciate my guides being not only that, but also a companion. We talked, they taught me about the area, we played cards, and I thankful for their knowledge in making sure I stayed healthy, happy, and completed my journey.
It is amazing, to wake up in the morning, stare out your tea-hut window for breakfast, looking at snow and serac covered 20ft+ mountains. You can’t beat the view. The pace was great, the mountains were awe inspiring that I couldn’t help just wanting to constantly stop, and just stare at them. Mesmerizing.
Hiking was not as tough as I had planned (I had spent months on walks, shorter hikes with altitude, and do live at a slightly higher altitude to start (4500ft), but you do still feel the altitude above 15k ft. Loved that Asman kept me going at the right pace, to not wear myself out and make it enjoyable.
The views from Gokyo-Ri, Kala Patthar, and hiking through the valleys are beautiful. As others have noted, Tea-huts, Food, Wi-fi, were all fine along the way and no complaints. That was an adjustment also, compared to my normal eating and drinking (water) habits, but quickly got used to it.
Everywhere we went, from Ramechhap, to tea-huts, to hiking along the way, Freedom Adventure seemed to be name people knew and respected. I’m thankful for them making this, the trip of a lifetime and helping me fulfill that lifelong dream. Until next time!

Absolutely EPIC!!! Every day was fun and the guides Boys and Big were beyond amazing!! Worth a trip to Thailand just for this adventure! Huge thanks for this memorable event.

Excellent trip!
The accommodation in Imlil exceeded expectations: clean, comfortable, and with good food (and plenty of it).
Our guide, Mohamed, was perfect:: courteous, knowledgeable and professional.
The base camp accommodation is Spartan but adequate, if a little crowded, but the food was also good and plentiful.
The mountains are amazing. And really unspoilt. But do keep in mind it is a strenuous walk and a scramble in places. You have to watch your feet every step of the way as the ground is rocky and uneven. Boots are definitely recommended. You’ll get a real sense of achievement (and sore legs) once you’ve finished.
The admin and logistics were smooth through out.
Definitely recommended.
Thank you for a memorable experience.

Amazing trip! Highly recommend it! Our guide was fantastic and the whole team took a great care of us throughout the trip! There is no signal during the hike for like 4-5 days so to completely detox from the phone was such a bonus, something i think we all need nowadays. Just make sure you pack extra batteries or solar power bank as you want the camera, phone to take pictures along the way and there is no way to charge anything until you reach Petra. Also make sure you pack warm clothes as it gets cold at the night. Stargazing was amazing as well. Enjoy!

Just back and what an adventure..First of all, Thank you Skyhook for organising a hastle free adventure from start to finish.
Our guide Mohamed was superb, not only in guiding us but also in teaching us so much about the local culture. Summit day was not to be due to freezing strong winds which made the climb arduous and at times potentially dangerous, the minus 15 strong gusts almost blowing us off our feet. Most teams turned around, including us, just bellow the 4,000 Mtr Col,(ridge), and those that ventured further, also soon were to turn back for safety reasons, one team, just 20 minutes from the summit, with the summit aporoach considered too dangerous in the strong winds.
Out of everyone on the mountain that day I believe only one group of 4 were lucky enough to find a window of opportunity to summit.
Having said that, safety always comes first, summiting is optional, getting down is mandatory.
The following day, local treks around Imlil, up to 2,640 Mtrs was superb in the 26° heat.
A fantastic trip from start to finish. Well organised and efficiently run.
If I was to return, I would go again with Skyhook and I would definitely recommend you to others.
Thank you all at the Skyhook Team.

Amazing trip, people, guides and porters! Wouldthouroughly recoommend doing this trip with Skyhook. One thing to note is that it is listed as 'moderate'. One a good day, possibly. Altitude and weather conditions can certainly make it a tough undertaking so take your preparation and kit list seriously.
I'm ready for the next adventure now!

Great trip. The guide Muhammad made it. He was very informative and answered all our questions we had. He was a great team player on summit day. Our muel guy did all the cooking. What amazing food we had at the refuge and thought out the whole trip.
The raid was clean and tidy. Gad a.lovely roof top terrace to sit out on.
All in all a very good trip. Lovey every minute of it.

The animals were amazing. We saw everything you could hope to see! Our driver was kind and accommodating but was far from a safari guide. We were fortunate to have a very knowledgeable guest with us, but it would have been nice to have more of a guide than just someone to drive us through the park.

Great experience.
The hostel was fun. Good facilities, clean linen and towels. Hot showers. The bunks were spacious and the power points really helpful with charging phones etc.
The kitchen was well equipped and had individual storage containers so there was no muddling of others foods.
The equipment loaned for the course was really good, fitted well and was in great condition.
The course itself was fantastic, learning new skills with excellent instruction and safety paramount.
Nothing was too much trouble and no one was expected to go beyond their comfort levels.
I would thoroughly recommend the course. This is my 2nd adventure with Skyhook and it won’t be my last.

Such an amazing trip with an amazing guide. Mohammed went above and beyond. He took care of myself and the other person on the trip with such kindness that I can not thank him enough. He was the reason we managed to get to the summit. He also explained about different aspects of the culture, local area and explained all about what we could see as we went.
The riad is beautiful inside and has a great roof top area. The food is unbelievable and there is copious amounts. The Berber whiskey (mint tea) keeps you going on the hike and is such a tasty drink.
The mountain refuge is basic and it is hard to sleep at due to the altitude and sharing a room with many others( ear plugs advised). But it has a fire, has hot showers, items to buy, WiFi and is a very welcoming place.
Don’t under estimate summit day, the summit is tough but what an achievement when you get to the top and what a view!

Absolutely amazing weekend in a stunning location! We had rock climbing experience but were brand new to ice climbing, which was similar to a lot of our group, and we all managed to do so much! The instructors were fantastic and the hostel is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. I would highly recommend this course!

The trip was amazing from start to finish. Muhammad our guide was brilliant. He supported us on every step for the journey and was an absolute pleasure to be around! Abdul was our cook and ensured we had the best food even when right up in the mountains! The mountain and general hike is very tough, but insanely beautiful.
Travelled on: Mount Toubkal Winter Ascent (4,167m)
Can't recommend this trip enough! Our guide Mohammed was extremely knowledgeable about the area, hilarious and a local celebrity. We felt cared for by the team for the whole duration of the trip. There was even an option to extend my stay in Imlil. The cook Abdul was incredibly talented, serving delicious meals in remote locations! Unfortunately we were not able to summit Toubkal due to weather conditions, but Mohammed was extremely flexible, offering alternative routes and solutions- It's well worth trusting his recommendations and local knowledge of the area. The mountain Refuge was basic, but the riad in Imlil was extremely spacious and comfortable. Thank you to the whole team for making this trip such an incredible and memorable experience!
Travelled on: Mount Toubkal Winter Ascent (4,167m)
Absolute great trip in the mountains and dessert. Going up the mountain was an amazing experience, we had super great guides who took care about us. I am usually not a mountain traveller. I reccomend to use a stick when walking up the mountain to improve safety and to support your knees. I am scared about heights but i made it to the top thanks to the support from the guide. I think it is important to note that going up the mountain is not risk free and requires fitness and concentration. The dessert part was also amazing, especially the accommodation on day 4 was amazing (felt like 6 star hotel). At any point during the travel we had enough supplies (drinks and food), never were hungry. The trip is an adventure and is exhausting due to the tight schedule.

Brilliant course! We got really lucky with everyone in our group having some climbing experience which meant we got a lot of climbing done. We had Oscar as our instructor he was superb! Everything from his introduction, knowledge and humour. His English was brilliant and he fully made the course what it was! The ability to go to a venue and be able to climb everything from easy routes all the way up to trying stuff you didn’t even think possible. The hostel is as you expect from a hostel but the atmosphere is very nice.

Thank you

Absolutely fantastic. Oskar really made the course. He was able to cater for the abilities of the group in a supporting and encouraging way with a thorough, friendly and emphatic manner. A true credit to the school and Skyhook. Plus, more metres climbed in the 2 days that most don’t get in a full season! Stunning location. I’ll defo be back for more.

Was a little unsure what to expect with this being my first guided trip abroad but from arrival through to departure we were very well looked after. The guides were great, food was plentiful and the walking was great too! You are given 1.5l bottles of water each day which is more than enough. Accommodation and food in Imlil is great and has WiFi too, refuge is more basic and a bit more bothy like.

John (our guide) and Sammie (our guide/driver) went above and beyond to make this a very memorable safari. From the moment we entered the park we were lucky enough to see an elephant which kick things off nicely.
Our campsite was situated next to the river and was frequently visited by some amazing birds. On our afternoon game drive we were so blessed to see a variety of animals including two lionesses stalking warthogs.
Our guides were so kind in the evening coming for us in an absolute down pour, they looked after us so well.
Our morning drive started with the most stunning sunrise behind Mt Kenya, we then went on to see even more animals including giraffe and hyenas (baby ones as well).
Our final treat was a visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary (they are doing some amazing work there) then the icing on the cake was a visit to the resident 29 year Black Rhino Baraka who was recused from the reserve after he lost an eye in a fight, to be able to see this incredible animal so close is something I will treasure forever. Another great tour.
Travelled on: Ol Pejeta Safari
This really was a trip of a life time. As a group we were so lucky to have such fantastic dry weather for the entire trek which meant we were able to summit Mt Kenya.
Our guide John was incredible, he took care of all of us from start to finish and it was a privilege to have him as our guide for this adventure and without his calm and encouraging guidance I don’t think I would have made it to the top. We would not hesitate in recommending this tour.
