Despite the absolutely terrible weather - unrelenting rain and strong winds - our guide Rebecka was always cheerful, positive and helpful. Highlights were swimming in the fjord and diving for clams.
Lovely group of people, who made being soggy for 3 days pretty pleasant.
Travelled on: Hike, Kayak and Wild Camp the Norwegian Fjords
We were a bit unlucky with the weather as a named storm came through for the days we were wild camping but we had a fantastic group and leader and made the best of challenging conditions. It was physically tough but extremely beautiful and I can’t thank our guide Rebecka enough for going above and beyond to keep smiles on our faces. Be prepared for less than ideal weather but don’t let that stop you - this was a stunning trip with a great group. A highlight was the trek to Pulpit’s Rock and being in a cloud when we got to the top 🤣

Harder than you might think, especially the second day, climbing about 1000m up and then down 2500! The descent sure is tiring on old knees! Make sure you are reasonably fit for a challenging but achievable challenge, and the chance to look down on all of North Africa!
Travelled on: Hike Mount Toubkal (4,167m)
This was a magic trip! Very well organized, beautiful landscape and professional guides. I highly recommend going on this trip! I’m 54 and have good basic physics and it was no problem to do this hike for me. So don’t let age stop you!

It was a great 4 days of hike. with Tom and Mark. I kept asking so many questions related to different peaks, hikes, tallest mountains, and whatnot and they were so generous to answer them all time and again. I would definitely recommend everyone to go with them. Seamless arrangement and all the required information is given beforehand and hence you don't need to be worried about anything.

From someone who hasn’t ‘Hiked’ before- This has been one of my favourite ever experiences hands down.
Tour guides:
Excellent knowledge, interactive, friendly and extremely organised. We saw how another competitor group operated and it was clear as day that Alps adventures were so much better, from
Having lunches organised on arrival- to seamless check ins at the lodges. No stress or hassle at any point. 10/10. Food was great at every stop over.
Tom has clearly perfected this trip over time and I literally have 0 faults. - Makes time and effort to interact with everyone.
Mark- again very knowledgeable - easy to talk to, walked with people at their own pace throughout- a comforting character. Both men a credit to this adventure, you both made it special!
The views:
I have no words. Felt like I was expecting a Dragon to fly over an ice mountain! Indescribable - I’ve been to the grand canyon and got bored after 30 minutes ‘“it really is just rocks everywhere” but this place is something else. Truly mesmerising . I would encourage you to remember to look around you at all times- it’s very easy to just keep your eyes on the floor in the direction which you are walking. Remember to embrace the views!
Company- the guys and girls on the tour were second to none. Made friends for life- I feel I could turn up in Holland or Sweden just to have a coffee with some of the guys after a year and nothing would have changed. Really beautiful people.
Everyone is like minded- all there for an adventure and a great time. Some people in pairs, some solo travellers. Take ear buds! Prepare for snoring- likelihood someone will but all character building! :p
Most importantly- Prepare for a brilliant adventure, full of memories.

I highly recommend Tour du Mont Blanc with Alps Adventures. Tom and Mark were fantastic guides, very knowledgeable and very well organized.

Such a wonderful, special few days. Some truly beautiful scenery and a real sense of accomplishment to have have canoed some 90k+ across Scotland.
I had kayaked before but not canoed much but picked it up easily. Our guides Geoff and Sam were great, kept us safe and gave us great tips and guidance and pushed us on when we needed it. Their communication was really clear - we knew what was happening throughout the day and they updated us when the weather had other ideas!
We got so lucky with the group - a really brill 10 people from various walks of life. The final day we all swam in Loch Ness together which was so great. Well done Helena for instigating the morning swims! I’m so glad I experienced this with those guys.
Sam was a great cook and we had more than enough food throughout the day. It would have been good to see more local produce used perhaps. And snacks - nuts/ healthier options in addition would be good.
But these are minor points - I wouldn’t let that put you off as it’s a truly wonderful experience. One not to be forgotten.
Ps - top tip: Inverness Cabs deliver alcohol near to camp on the final night - if you have a bit of a wine-loving group like we did. A well deserved reward at the end!

What an amazing trip! Sam and Geoff were brilliant guides, (knowledgeable, chatty and terribly sarcastic!) the scenery was amazing and I feel a huge sense of achievement in completing it but I have to say the group made this trip for me, they were funny, friendly and fierce and it made the whole experience even better for me as a solo traveler.
Highly recommended trip, just do it you won’t regret it.
Travelled on: Canoe Across Scotland
I loved this adventure from start to finish. We paddled through some of the finest scenery Scotland has to offer and each night had an exciting new wild camping spot to look forward to. Our guides Sam and Geoff were simply excellent. They looked after us, fed us and entertained us while they made us feel safe on the water at all times. Sam has an astonishing amount of energy and is so friendly. Geoff had a reassuring amount of calmness and expertise and become very popular with the group. My favourite parts of the trip were bonding with the rest of the group and wild swimming in the lochs every morning.
Travelled on: Canoe Across Scotland
What a wonderful experience ! I definitely recommend this for the scenery, the wildness, break from civilisation (haha) and the people.
An amazing group and lots of fun in those 5 memorable days !
Thank you very much to Geoff and Sam to support us during this trip ! They have been brilliant !!

The description of the trip is accurate. It was a really beautiful hike! I’m a solo traveler and the group was lovely and welcoming. AlpsAdventures, the local company who run the tour, communicated well before the trip with some really useful videos on the route, what and how to pack, and how to use walking poles. Our guide, Paul was really knowledgable, friendly, kind, enthusiastic and engaging. He looked after us extremely well. The food was good and plentiful, my highlight was the homemade cake (made by Louise, one of the people who run AlpsAdventures - much appreciated thank you!)

A wonderful trip - this was my first as a solo female (2nd with Skyhook) and I was looked after so well. Our guide was John who has 25 years experience on the mountain and was so knowledgeable and checked in with us with great advice every step of the way. His passion for his job and the local area is clear and he was able to give us interesting and useful information all the way along which made the trip another level. He is a font of knowledge about plants, animals, geography, local conservation and communities. We were also joined by an incredible team of 6 porters who couldn’t have thought of any more lovely little touches - the Wi-Fi hut (toilet), tablecloth over the table for meals, such great food and hot water bottles at night - it was definitely an added luxury we were not expecting. The campsites were in the most scenic places and photos just don’t do it justice. Summit night was tough but John kept us going - pole pole, and we all summited at sunrise before the clouds came over. Communication was good and I felt safe and confident at all times. If you are considering this trip you should go for it! I’m already looking at what I can do next…

Mont Blanc Guided Walk was an incredible adventure from start to finish. Everything was perfect, our group, weather and amazing guide Alena. The way she took care of us, it is difficult to describe in words. Without her support this journey wouldn't be so beautiful. Thank you for evething Alena. This trip is one of the best trip of my life.

Had a great trip. One of the most beautiful trekking that I have done. Well organised (done by AlpAdentures) and have group of lovely people which make the trip enjoyable. Our guide (Alina) is amazing, she let us walk at our own pace, so I can take a lof of photos and enjoy scenery more. Would recommend this tour.

Accomodation was fine, a unique experience sharing with so many strangers...but fine all round...fod was good, nourishing.

What an amazing experience! I had never been in a canoe before so I felt quite anxious. Chucky and Geoff did a brilliant job reassuring everyone, showing us all the best paddling techniques and keeping us safe at all times. A few days packed with adventure, delicious food and great people. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants to explore the outdoors, camping and kayaking. Throughout the trip our guide Lukas has ensured that we are comfortable in our kayaks giving us all the knowledge we need before we went exploring the fjords, cooking us delicious food, patiently answering the millions of questions we had and sharing the local culture.
I had such a great time! Planning to go back and explore Norway more soon.

Had a great trip! Tom was an excellent guide and had a great small group of lovely people. This was my first multi-day hike and first time carrying a pack, so I wasn’t sure how I would find it, but it exceeded my expectations. Beautiful scenery, lot of up and down hills, but manageable with a good level of fitness. The accommodation (and showers and toilets) are hostel-like, ie shared, which takes me back to my youth, but for 3 nights totally cool, and also makes it quite a sociable. I would recommend!
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
I recommend the trip for anyone who wants to experience great views, meeting interesting people, and get really sweaty together as a team. It’s lots of up and downs so I recommend unexperienced participants to practice a little at home first. Maybe a day hike with backpack to test how joints and shoes feels. I really enjoyed this adventure! Our guide Tom let us walk in our own pace which made a huge difference, some of us just got a longer rest at the beautiful sceneries.

Wow what an adventure! Fantastic trip from start to finish. Our guide, Tom, was incredibly experienced and was evidently popular with all the local hotspots! I travelled alone and apparently our group was smaller than usual but such lovely people to get to know. Beautiful hikes each day, lots of uphill and downhill to be expected in the mountains, but we could go our own pace and plenty of stops along the way to take in the views or enjoy a drink/snack. Well fed and watered in the hostels. Highly recommend and thank you Tom for bringing the energy and good vibes!

Excellent guides. Great organisation. Could have done with more reference to ability level as one member of group was seriously lacking whilst others far more able. Food lacking in freshness. On two occasions given tinned fruit which was fermented. I’m gluten free and was given an apple instead of real alternative at one point. But all in all it was a great trip and as some one with a normal, not extreme level of fitness it was very much achievable. All accommodation was clean. Never enough toilets though!

This was the most amazing trip, the people I met were great the two guides Krystal and Greger were exceptional
kind encouraging supportive and knowledgeable about our surroundings,
I would highly recommend this trip.
If I did it again I would have arrived a day earlier and it would have been great if the first day could have started earlier so we were not stuck so long in the queue for the Mont Blanc Tunnel .

Fantastic trip. Mike was a first class group leader. Friendly, encouraging, informative and very conscious of different levels of ability in the group. Possible improvements- accommodation was very basic (single room option should be made available) Good Mini bus but leg room limited. Would highly recommend this trip.

Absolutely fantastic trip. It lived up to all my expectations and more. Even the food was great. All in all a definite 5 stars.
Our guides Sam and Charlie were brilliant. Knowledgeable and very good to make quick decisions on the fly that made the trip both more fun and safer. I was always 100% confident in them and despite some windy situation on Loch Ness always felt safe and knew they had it all under control. We were 11 people from very different backgrounds and many with no canoe experience at all. Sam and Charlie were great at showing us how to manage the canoes and we all got the hang of it quickly. Can 100% recommend Good2Go Adventures for anyone that is interested in doin this great trip.

The Tour was well designed and balanced. The overall description and difficulty level were accurate.
We were lucky to have a great guide, Barbara Deliere. She was very professional, encouraging, giving attention to everyone equally and creating cohesion in the group.
The improvement could be the start. It could be an early start and the briefing could take place the evening before.
I am happy to recommend the tour to anyone interested.
Thank you

My wife and I went on this trip, we combined it with 3 day Toubkal so as we finished in Imlil, our tour was the reverse way around. Our driver Youssef picked us up from our hotel in Imlil and we set off to . It was just the 3 of us for the whole week. A nice AC car getting to know Youssef as the we travelled from place to place. What a great guy! Certainly a friend for life.
Very well organised by Atlas Vertical and Lahouceine. All the accommodation was good, maybe the last night in Marrakesh could have been better (unclean room)
Lots of memories across all the places we visited. Highlights, tedra gorge, Sahara (ensure you get luxury camp - check with Skyhook, basic in my opinion is awful, we transfered - thanks to Lahouceine) and Casablanca - fantastic mosque
Honestly, a trip of a lifetime made better by meeting Youssef.
This is a must do!
Thanks Lahouceine and Youssef

This was an amazing trip! Well organized, including 4 routes on the Mont Blanc circuit to cover 3 countries in 4 days. Our guide Paul was brilliant - really knowledgeable of the routes and taking everyone’s abilities into consideration. There are a lot of steep ascents and steep descents so take advantage of hiring the walking poles as they were really helpful with the trekking.
Book the trip - you won’t regret it.

Thank you will look forward to booking the next adventure

Just finished the Tour of Mont Blanc 4 day trip covering Italy, Switzerland and France via Alps Adventures through Skyhook.
The trip was fantastic from the organisation, the amazing guide Paul and great company that made it a great break away.
It was tough in parts especially carrying your own kit each day (not something I was used to) but Paul kept the pace manageable even on the big uphills!
Poles can be hired and I would highly recommend doing this for €10 as I think it would be unmanageable without. The hostels were clean and food got better as the trip went on, and always nice to finish the day with a beer.
Highly recommend for solo travellers as well as couples or friends. Need a reasonable level of fitness as the days were circa 4 hours (day1), 8 hours (days2&3) and 5 hours trekking (on day 4).
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
What an incredible trip. Alps Adventures were amazing, the itinerary the schedule the whole experience will stay with me forever. Paul our guide was the best we could have wishes for. His knowledge, experience, humour, it all made the trip complete. We stopped so many times so he could tell us about the landscape, the plants, flowers and trees. Without Paul, the trip would have been great. With him, it was amazing.
Cannot recommend highly enough. Book this trip, you will not regret a single moment.

This was an amazing trip. Easy to book, plenty of information regarding all aspects of preparation and what to expect. Our trip leader, Paul, has a wealth of knowledge and experience. He is totally passionate about educating all hikers with quality information on the area and how it is being impacted by global changes. Fantastic group of people with interesting life experiences with a great team 'WhatsApp' group now full of fantastic photos. Great laugh, learned loads, great accommodation and saw some incredible scenery. Thanks Tom for organising. Definitely be back.

If your on the fence about booking, don’t be! Just book it, you won’t regret it!
The trip was perfect start too finish. Paul is a phenomenal man, his knowledge, care and experience is second too none. You’ll learn about different plants/trees, environmental and climate changes that he’s supper passionate about. As well as really supporting & looking after the group as a unit wether your super fit or taking it easier.
I do recommend that you make sure you are fit & can realistically walk for hours with steep ascents & descents (it isn’t a walk in the park)
Depending on the time you go obviously, but pack as little & light as poss (pants are good for 2 days at least 😉) take snacks and light water bottle, lots of opportunities too fill up.
The hiking is hard & you do spend a lot of time looking at the persons feet in front of you, but please remember too look up and take in the views there out standing.
Walking poles where a game changer!
Thank you so much Paul & co

From start to finish our trip was amazing. In total together with my wife another couple joined us in Marrakesh for the pick up and together with our guide Joal we started the trip. Hotel in Imlil was great for the 1st evening. Lovely little village. Day 2, after breakfast we started (all 5 of us) our trek to base camp, approx 2000m climb taking in breathtaking views of the atlas mountains. Lunch was great prepared by our own chef who also looked after our luggage on the mule. After 6h or so we arrived at base camp. A very clean hostel where approx 100 or so people stay to summit Mt Toukbal in the morning. Again amazing dinner prepared by our own chef.
At 4am after a breakfast the final 1000m was ahead of us. Not going to lie, it was tough, much steeper than the day before. After 4h we made it. What a view! Amazing!!! Well worth the tough climb.
We climb down to base camp for lunch then walled back to Imlil. Again, quite tough on the legs, but we made it! A final night with our group in Imlil hotel before departing on the morning. Atlas Vertical (local company) were amazing with Lahouceine on what's app every step if needed.
WiFi not great in base camp, I suggest buying additional sim card or adding data locally in Marrakesh.
Great trip. Highly recommended

This was one of the best things I have ever done! An utterly amazing experience, the views were out of this world. What made the trip was our fantastic guide Barbara who was the most inspiring, caring, motivational guide we could have asked for. Her support and guidance was outstanding. She did this with humour and kindness ensuring everyone in the group was keep safe at all times. Everything worked like clockwork. Would highly recommend the trip to anyone! Just brilliant! Skyhook communications was great. Would definitely use this company again. Here’s to my next adventure!
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
5 stars isn’t enough for our guide Barbara! The tour (4 days around Mont Blanc) itself was lovely, challenging, and unforgettable. The lodging at refuges provided what you’d need on the road for rest! The views were breathtaking! All of that was amplified by our guide’s patience, encouragement, support, aid, and so much more! Our group (that was fantastic) varied in skill and speed and Barbara did more and beyond to be there for all of us. :) Many thanks to the guide! And I highly recommend the tour!
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
Fabulous Trip, Absolutely stunning views and Barbara our guide went out of her way every day to make sure everyone had the support they needed and the best time!
Every refuge we stayed in or stopped at had the most special views to take in. The refuges are very basic with one set meal and you are sharing a bathroom, so just be prepared not to be too fussy and just ride the journey - the experience of being right in the heart of the mountains is definitely worth it.
My advice to others would be:
1. Keep your backpacks light - only bring what is on the kit list - you really need less than you think.
2. It is a strenuous hike in parts - when you are climbing 900m in 2-3 hours it can get steep, so make sure you've got a basic level of fitness, and do some practice hikes with hills before you come away to check you are comfortable with the level of fitness required
3. Bring ear plugs - when you get 14 people sleeping in one dorm in a refuge - even though everyone tries to be quiet to sleep it can be challenging.

This is an absolutely brilliant trip! I’m not an experienced kayaker but had a great time, learned a lot and will definitely be on the water again soon.
Due to the difficult weather, the itinerary did change, but in no way did I feel like we’ve missed out. Each day was a new adventure, with something new to experience. The landscape and wildlife are just stunning, especially the seals.
Billy, Chris, and Pete are excellent guides and I always felt safe. Each day was planned to make the best of the weather (which was challenging for July!) and recognised the abilities of everyone in the group.
The campsite is great and in a fabulous quiet location with awesome sunset opportunities. Food was excellent and plentiful, and it was great to have the safe base of the awning of Billy’s caravan to get out of the weather.
Can’t recommend this trip highly enough. Thanks guys.

Our guide Crystal was amazing, very inspiring and extremely knowledgeable.
The accommodation is comfortable, but basic, food very good.
I’d definitely say you need a good base level of fitness, but Crystal kept the pace nice and steady and we had plenty of rest stops. Those that could walk quicker were encourage to, and given places to wait ahead. It was only on the last day when visibility was poor that we were all asked to keep close in the group.

This is a wonderful journey along the Tour de Mont Blanc trekking route, where you'll encounter the most spectacular and best views. The trek is both mentally and physically rewarding, as you reach new destinations each day. We usually started around 7 am and walked until about 4 pm with breaks and lunch, totaling around 35,000 steps a day. Carrying a 5-7 kg backpack, it's best to pack light for a more enjoyable experience. Our guide, Mark Dodwell, was really good and professional. Highly recommended! / ‘Ken Sweden’ on YT

The last morning he checked out the weather forecast, because of the rain and thunderstorms in the mountains during the night. It was safety first. We were lucky, got sunny weather and left Trient at 7:20 am 😊
Thank you from Line and Hans Erik.

Wow what an adventure I had. From start to finish was made to feel safe in the hands of your great guides Bill & Sallie. We were blessed with the weather and the other participants in the group were all so lovely and encouraging. Thanks for a great experience will definitely look into doing another tour with you. Thanks again x

Awesome experience, the most fun I've had this year. Our guide Blaz was excellent, fun, and (importantly) safety-conscious.

An amazing trip. The views are better than you can imagine! This was my first solo trip and everyone in my group was so welcoming and easy to get to know. Marcos is a fantastic guide. He’s organised, funny, patient and full of knowledge of the mountains. 100% would recommend this trip!

A fantastic varied hike with a suspension bridge, caves, mountain ridges, lakes and lots of local wildlife. There are so many amazing views and it’s less busy than the Tour du Mount Blanc. Our guide Marcos was friendly, supportive and really good fun. We had an absolutely amazing time with a great group of people. Thank you Alps Adventures and Marcos for a wonderful trek!

The most fantastic break and the best hike ever. The scenery was spectacular throughout. Great people, great accommodation and the best guide ever! Thanks you Marcos for the unforgettable week.

My paddle across Scotland was a fabulous experience. Our guides, Cam, Chris and Dan made sure that everything went smoothly. They kept us well fed and provided us with enough information to get us going and keep us going with a sense of humour and genuine care for all of us. We worked together as a team which gave us the feeling of being on a real expedition, I felt that I was challenged but never overwhelmed and would book again in a heartbeat. I feel that I have accomplished something that I could never have contemplated doing alone. I would highly recommend this trip.
Travelled on: Canoe Across Scotland
This has been the most amazing and rewarding experience. It is a really well organised and fun trip- lots of challenge but broken up into manageable days. Our guides Cam and Chris were truly fabulous- experienced, helpful and kind. Volunteer Dan was eager, helpful and kind. Camps were great fun and our dinners were great.
I am proud of what I’ve achieved and have learnt lots about myself. Here’s to lots more adventures ❤️🛶
Travelled on: Canoe Across Scotland
Trip date: Friday 7th July - Tuesday 11th July 2023
Participants;
Stuart, Nigel, Nicola, Caroline, Caroline, Brad, Paul, Sarah, Dan, Pam, Vera and myself David.
Guides;
Chris Potts - Water safety professional
Cameron Penn - Trip and Logistics Manager
Dan - Additional support and help
The following is from my perspective only.
The trip is an ideal adventure to see and explore Scotland from the seat of a canoe paddling on canals and Lochs, looking at and absorbing nature with minimal noise and light pollution (at night). If you've ever wanted to immerse yourself in nature in this way, I recommend this trip, as wildlife is abundant.
The journey is sometimes challenging, mainly due to (unpredictable) weather conditions and individual fitness levels. Our group had an age range from 19 to 70 years old, and everyone completed the trip without any adverse issues, although there were plenty of achy and sore muscles.
The trip is a group activity rather than an individual effort; you should expect to engage in team participation and offer and recognise when you need help and support while also recognising when others require help and support. For my part, I needed help on several occasions, and I was grateful individuals stepped in and supported me. It is also essential to recognise when individuals need alone time.
The actual camping and eating facilities are limited; this is not a pessimistic view but more of an expression to inform others of what to expect. I suggest anyone considering this trip to consider this, as this is not a 'Glamping experience'.
That said, speaking for myself and what I witnessed in the group, everyone embraced the adventure and the limitations of 'wild camping' with minimal cooking and personal facilities available.
We were very fortunate with the other group members; they were positive, engaging, helpful and team-spirited, with a can-do attitude and full of support; there was plenty of laughter and smiles; the group made the whole trip better!
Within the group were siblings, friends, couples and individuals, and I felt we all worked as a team when needed and bonded well throughout the trip.
Cameron Penn led the trip and organised the logistics for the food, the cooking for 15 people, choosing the optimum camping sites, and how long the actual paddling day would be, depending on the weather conditions.
Considering the enormity of the above, Cameron managed this with ease and a level of maturity above his actual age of 23; he is an impressive young man with adaptable leadership skills. I'm 57 years old and would gladly go on another trip he led.
Chris Potts is 24 years old and was responsible for the whole group's safety and water management. Initially, I was concerned about this level of responsibility; however, I soon realised that Chris is knowledgeable with an excessive amount of qualifications backed up by real-life experience. He has a friendly manner about himself, smiling and relaxed, although he was always looking at the group on the water, the weather, and the surroundings. He has a confidence which is pleasant and reassuring. I would gladly go on another trip he led, and I felt completely safe on the whole journey.
Dan Holmes is currently adding to his 'water' experience and qualifications; he volunteered to complete the trip to aid Chris in learning additional new skills while adding to his current portfolio of knowledge and qualifications.
Dan is 19 years old and probably one of the nicest, most hard-working and most helpful individuals I have come across - I hope his parents are very proud of him; he has a bright future ahead of himself and made a positive impression on the whole group.
If I could suggest a learning opportunity for the company, I would have liked more engagement with communications before the trip to help manage expectations. I appreciate that this is not straightforward, as there are numerous views to consider, although this would have benefited me.
There were many elements which made the trip a success for me, although if I singled out one area, I would say the guides were the reason the whole trip was a success, Cameron, Chris and Dan should feel very proud of themselves, well done!

What a fabulous trip, we both thoroughly enjoyed our paddle across Scotland. Our guides Cam, Chris and Dan kept us safe and on track and at no time did we feel out of our depth although there were a few tricky moments our guides had a plan and we felt very safe and well looked after. We were worried that there wouldn't be enough space on the canoe of all of our kit and us, we needn't have worried as there was plenty of space in the end. The food was very good and we were very impressed that Cam could cook food for all 15 of us on 2 small gas stoves! This trip was a challenge, as we expected but all 12 guests worked well together which gave us the sense of being on proper expedition which made our experience very special. Lovely people, fabulous views, a wonderful experience we would book again with these guys. Highly recommended.

I was so excited about this trip and it exceeded my expectations - I would recommend to anyone looking for a fun, challenging and awe-inspiring adventure. The trip was well planned, but flexible to our needs and the weather. The guides (Chris, Cam and Dan) were awesome and made the trip special for the whole group - I felt like we were in safe hands the whole time, we were brilliantly fed and catered for, and they energized us all to tackle whatever was thrown at us.

Everyone was so welcoming - from the taxi drivers to the guides up Toubkal.
Accommodation was hard to fault - food was a plenty & superb.
No drama’s - everything went like clockwork.

So glad I decided to go on this trip - what an incredible experience! Everything was well planned out and the team at Nordic Paddling was amazing. Our guide Sandra made the trip so special and looked after us all really well. The campsite was in an idyllic spot and we had perfect weather which made it even better. Our group also bonded so well and I really enjoyed getting to know everyone. You pack a lot into just a few days which makes the trip feel longer and like you’ve made the most of each day - there are always breaks and plenty of snacks though! Can’t recommend this trip enough if you want to meet great new people and explore this incredible part of the world.

I just completed this wonderful trip, and my head is full of incredible memories. Unique setting, gorgeous landscapes, fun and lively atmosphere with the other participants, and, last but not least, Sandra, our amazing guide, who radiated an incredibly warm and positive energy, and made this experience one of my all-time favorite trips.

Wow what an adventure! Highly recommend… top tip make sure you train the terrain can be very challenging in places! However the stunning scenery makes it so worth while! Huge thankyou to Guy our guide who was super knowledgeable and kept the moral of the group up and held us all together even though we were mixed abilities.
Loved every minute thankyou

What an amazing experience! It was everything I had hoped for and more. So well organised from start to finish. The views were stunning every metre of the way with a variety of terrain and climbs. Great camaraderie between such a fun and supportive group. Guy, our leader, was superb. His knowledge, wisdom, support, patience and general morale lifting made the whole experience so much easier and I would highly recommend everyone to enjoy this venture at least once in their life time!

What an amazing adventure…..the hardest thing I have ever done , but totally amazing. The scenery was off the scale . Guy our guide for the 4 days was brilliant with us all. We were a large group from Essex who were all friends , and 2 strangers who quickly became friends . We are all strong individuals and am sure at times poor Guy must have felt like he was herding sheep…..but he managed us all brilliantly. He was kind , considerate , calm, and dealt with our various levels of fitness with ease. He took time to get to know us all…..and was a pleasure to be around . We are a boisterous bunch , but this did not bother him at all.
I highly recommend this trip, I am fit but not young , and managed this…..with a lot of encouragement from others in the group and of course Guy. Who I cannot thank enough 🙏🏼🙏🏼

What a trip!! Well organised, breathtaking scenery, remote and cozy accommodation, and met some great people along the way.
Don’t be put-off if you’re a solo traveller joining a big group. Me and another solo traveller joined a group of 12 friends who were warm, welcoming and great fun!
Thanks to Guy who did a brilliant job navigating and supporting us throughout and sharing his knowledge of the mountains, flora and fauna.

Paddy and I had an amazing time… the shock of the big communist dorm on the first night, the awesome views of the Mont Blanc mountain range, the comradeship of the group, the laughter and the well paced walks were fantastic. Our guide Guy was so kind and catered well to the needs of the group. He helped anyone in difficulty and was a wealth of knowledge on the history of the region and the local flora and fauna.. after the tour finished he went out of his way to help locate my lost passport then how to sort out emergency passport to travel home. We would both highly recommend this tour and Guy in particular. We couldn’t have done this trip with a nicer group of people. Thank you all 😊

My second trip with Alpsadventures. Both have been amazing. Vues du Mont Blanc is so different to the TmB - same wonderful food, guides, company - I cannot recommend this trip enough. The views were spectacular. Our guide Paul is the most fun and knowledgeable person on the mountains. The families running the sleeping huts are so welcoming. You can see the whole world on night two. Everyone should do this trip. Thank you Alpsadventues.

I really enjoyed this adventure. We were in a small group of 8 and very well looked after by our friendly, interesting and very capable guide Lucas...who also fed us lots of chocolate when out on our Kayaks on the water.
Norway is stunning and exploring the fjords in kayaks and wild camping was a really special and peaceful way to appreciate their beauty. I also caught a fish !

This was a fabulous trip with our wonderful guide, Christel. She took great care of the whole group during the hiking and stopped to tell us stories along the way. She is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour. The hiking involved a lot of altitude gains and losses and the scenery was spectacular. A friend recommended this tour to me and I will be sure to recommend it to. Thank you Alps Adventure and especially Christel for this great experience.
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
We had a fantastic time and this is truly a great hike experience - made even more enjoyable with a group and guide. The conditions were perfect and each day provided awe inspiring vistas, stories and tough but rewarding routes. Our guide, Christel, was always approachable and knew the sights and region intimately, giving us plenty of moments to ask questions and learn more along the trail.
Accommodation was fine, just remember your ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. The included meals were basic - in need of some inspirational flare, but this experience is more about the hike than a "gourmande dining" tour.
Come prepared and be amazed, not only at what you experience but also what you accomplish. We had a memorable time with a great like-minded group of hikers. You have to do Mont Blanc and this "express" version, is truly a great way to do it. Keep on climbing, cheers!
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
After being turned away from the summit by a severe winter storm last March I was looking forward to the chance to reach the summit again. The summer heat proved to add its own challenges to an already challenging climb. But with the guidance and encouragement of our excellent guide, Mohammed, we successfully completed the summit and descent. It was an amazing hike with beautiful scenery and lots of opportunities to interact with the locals along the way. Make sure to get some of the fresh squeezed orange juice as you go up.

Just home after trekking Mont Blanc with the amazing Tom and Guy as our guides. What an incredible experience! As the slowest in our group I can honestly say that I had the best time despite constantly being at the back. Tom and Guy were Kind, entertaining and always ready with anecdotes and promises of cake and coffee to keep me moving 😍
If you’re thinking of booking this adventure then I 100% recommend that you do, you won’t be disappointed!

The whole trip from start to finish was superb, I highly recommend experiencing it, you will be well looked after and it takes away all the stress of organising it yourself. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable and I loved the certificate at the end of the tour, it was a really nice gesture and is now hanging proudly on my wall at home.
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
I would recommend doing the trip with a group of friends but probably not if you are a solo traveller as the enjoyability largely depends on the group and guide.
If the weather is bad you will be in the hut for the whole afternoon / evening with not much to do. The room we were given was so small only one person could stand up, all the beds were pushed together. You do not have an option to pay for a separate room, even if you are the only female in a tiny room with men or offer to pay for every bed in an empty room. The guide wasn’t happy to I had asked. There is no water at the hut and a small bottle of water is €3. No water is included in the evening meal.
The mountain was beautiful and the scenery incredible. Climbing to the top was a great experience.
Travelled on: Summit Mt Triglav (2,863m)
This was such a lovely trip. The house at Imlil is beautiful with stunning views and a great place to start your trek into the mountains. From there, the walk up to the refuge is full of stunning views. The refuge itself offers hostel type accommodation with good food and helpful staff.
I've done ascents before; this one was demanding, partly because we opted to get up there for sunrise so we didn't get much sleep. The descent is largely on shale and boulders, so good footwear and walking sticks are very helpful.
Both Lahouceine and Muhammed were great, we were very well taken care of.
This was such a successful expedition that I'm planning on doing more trips through the High Atlas next year.
Travelled on: Hike Mount Toubkal (4,167m)
Excellent hike with amazing views, well balanced trail which was challenging only in few parts, yet doable even for beginners, cosy chalets, great diverse team and highly professional, very experienced, helpful and friendly guide Tracey! I had one of the most wonderful time on this trip and I can't wait to book another one soon. Tom and Guy are amazing guides - kind, engaging, helpful and friendly. Overall the trip was very well organized - Louise who I was in touch with due to flight delays was very communicative and helpful and she made sure I had a spot in the group next day as I missed the trip I had planned due to delays. The trip is all about experiences so if you are still doubting, book it already and you won't regret it!

Communication was excellent both before and during the trip and our guide Paul was brilliant. He was full of knowledge of both the mountains and the flora and fauna seen en route.
I would highly recommend this trip.

The trip was incredible! I don’t think I’d have managed it without Paul’s excellent guidance, help and patience. The views were phenomenal! It was a lot harder than I had anticipated so maybe going in with no training wasn’t the best idea but the team were awesome and Paul got us all through it.

Guide cristel was amazing, so knowledgeable..
I appreciate difficulties in hostels etc but hot water should be a minimum.
Food.... no vegetables no salad, not acceptable. My partner is vegan and stated this. I'm not but I dislike going without vegetables or salad.
There are plenty of long lasting vegetables, if storage , delivery etc is an issue.
The walk, the views, transport etc all rate 5 stars.
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
Overall a great trip. Our guide Christel was truly amazing - friendly, helpful, professional, knowledgeable 5 stars⭐️!!
The trip was a lot more challenging than I had expected - it’s not a ramble for sure - you need to be fit, difficult ascents that seem to go on forever and descents the same! However the scenery is stunning - breathtaking - we had glorious weather (25 degrees hot and sunny a welcome breeze now and then) which was good as apparently the previous week was rainy - it would have ruined our trip if the weather had been bad.
The accommodation is very basic - be prepared to be sleeping alongside strangers and sharing a dorm with people who are not in your trip - the first night is the most basic we slept in a 14 bed room - like sardines with 11 of our trip and two from another trip. You need a sleeping bag liner the beds have a rubbish pillow and a quilt both I’m sure not ‘refreshed’ each day! Take ear plugs - most people snore!
The showers/toilets at the first night again very basic (think 70s school trip) but if you’re comfortable queuing for three toilets whilst staring at people’s feet under the door - you’re good to go! Maybe I’m a little too precious - private rooms and bathrooms are my thing.
The second nights accommodation was slightly better - less to a room and bunk beds but bathroom and toilet facilities similar.
The third night was a little better but not much.
Food - breakfast and dinner provided seemed to get better with each day - all acceptable - all sitting down together around 6/7 for dinner was a nice time to chat and catch up on the days trek.
Whole heartedly recommend walking poles! Don’t overpack/bring anything unnecessary items/clothing - you’re carrying approx 6/7 kilos on your back it’s hard!
The last day following a break at the top ( and delicious food - I opted for a local fromage (yoghurt) with chestnut cream) we began our final descent after 15 minutes we reached the cable car - our guide said we could either continue the walk down which was more of the same 45 mins of steep rocky terrain or take the cable car - we took the cable car! By this time I had begun to develop a couple of blisters on my toes from the steep downhills from the day before decided they didn’t need another 45 minutes of bash bash!
Actually I think the cable car should be added to the trip - it’s a wonderful way to end the trek especially as the last 45 mins weren’t very scenic just basically steep downhill!
Also I would suggest the mini buses pick us up from Le Tours to take us all back to Vert Lodge - instead we all had to take the public bus which was crowded and couldn’t get a seat.
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
Amazing! Everything about the trek was amazing! You need to be fit though! The views and experience was second to none. Truely breathtaking!
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
Well organised throughout with a professional, knowledgeable and helpful guide (Mark). Some stretches were hard work but worth it for the stunning scenery and sense of achievement. I was the only solo traveller so appreciated that the other members of the group were all friendly and supportive. An excellent experience.
Special thanks to the team undertaking the transfer from Geneva airport to Chamonix. The passport control was even more chaotic than usual and I was 45 minutes late getting to the rendezvous but they waited for me (phew).

Hiking TMB was an amazing experience. I was with an awesome group and we had so much fun, full of laughters even when we were in aches hiking many of the challenging mountain trails! The view of the mountains and surroundings were spectacular. TMB hike is doable for any age but one must be well prepared for fitness/cardio as some of the trails can be challenging! A highly recommended trip!

I can't recommend this trail enough. If you're looking for amazing views with a challenging trek, look no further. We trekked ~52.5 KM over the four days, with steep inclines and declines. We took enough breaks along the way to recharge, enjoy the views, and connect with others on the journey. Kudos to Alps Adventures for their approach to such trips. This is my second trip with them and I'll be looking for more opportunities to trek with them in the future.

This was my second trip with AlpAdventure and I just love it! The guides are very professional and the groups I have been with have just been amazing! It is amazing that you can take a group of strangers and put them together for a few days and have so much fun while hiking 😆
I have personally done both trips on my own and we’re not accompanied by a friend, and this have not been a problem at all! I think it actually makes it easier to talk to the other group members ;)
A personally thanks to Tom and Mathilde who guided my trip to Matterhorn! Great people!

Travelled on: Vues du Mont Blanc (Tour Des Muverans)
Amazing trip, our guide Gracjan was brilliant and put us all at ease. An experience I will never forget. Only thing I would say is it was extremely warm and I personally think it should be more aimed at more experienced hikers, you definitely need a certain level of fitness to do it and have some experience. Overall though unforgettable and met a great bunch of people. Thank you Gracjan and Skyhook.
Travelled on: Tour du Mont Blanc Highlights
Overall it was a fantastic trip, we had a great group. Darren our driver was a mine of information about the trip and was really helpful. The minibus is a bit cramped so plan your packing well!
The mountain guides are fantastic, they are super fit and really know their stuff.
This is a tough challenge, you need to train for it, it's not something you can just do especially if you want to do it within the time frame.
Some of our group booked through a different company and a couple of them failed to complete the challenge. I'm not sure whether the company they used told them how fast the pace would be or not but I think in future Shyhook need to make sure that other companies using the same transport and guides are giving out the same information as it was a logistical nightmare for the guides to manage such a varied ability group and really disappointing for the people who didn't complete.
Travelled on: National 3 Peaks Challenge (24 Hours)
What a great trip! The scenery is stunning, and the trip is well put together with pickups, transport, accommodation and food. You overnight in what are effectively mountain hostels, and as long as you know to expect dorms, shared showers and limited facilities, they're everything you need - plus they're in amazing locations. We had a great group, and Marcos our guide was fantastic. The walks are tough enough, with steep gradients both ways and long days - but there are beers, wine and food at each stop, so it all works perfectly. (The Rostis Complet at Bovine were awesome!) Will definitely use Skyhook again, and would recommend a knighthood for Marcos! Cheers!!

Amazing trip with a group that just made click since day one! Even though there are some challenging parts through TMB, all the things you get to see and experience are completely worth it. Marcos, our outstanding guide, made sure we enjoyed the tour in every possible way. Fully recommended and if it helps, we had a perfect weather by the end of june.

Our guide - Marcos - was the best, you can tell he loves the mountains and sharing them with others. He shared stories about mountaineering, tips for places to visit and things to do, making the trip unforgettable and enriching.

What can I say. If you're thinking about booking this trip, do it! You will not regret it!
The trip exceeded all my expectations. I absolutely loved this hike. Extremely well led and organised and Marcos (our guide) was brilliant.
The Mountain refuges are extremely clean. Take flip flops or sliders as you are not permitted to wear your walking boots inside the refuges. Bear in mind the sleeping arrangements are dormitory style and you will be sharing a room with other people - dont forget your earplugs!
Advice I would give to anyone booked on or thinking of booking on this trip:
- Pack LIGHT, so important. Remember you're going to be carrying that bag for 4 days. Don't take anything you don't need. There is the opportunity to leave anything at the Vert Lodge prior to setting off. Your bag is weighed before starting.
- In my view, you need slightly more than a base level of fitness. Luckily, I already had a good level of fitness. You are walking up moderate to steep mountains for long periods over the 4 days, so get that hill training in. The hard work is worth it as the views are breathtaking.
- Take more snacks. I didn't, as advised, but wish I had.
- Invest in good walking socks. I'm grateful that I did!
I would not hesitate to book with Skyhook again. Infact, I'm already looking at trips for 2024.

Fantastic experience. If you are thinking about it, stop thinking and do it. You won't regret it. Such an experience, felt totally confident with guide Sam. He was brilliant, kept us fed with amazing food and knowledge. Kearny so much. I had a blast.
Travelled on: Canoe Across Scotland
This was an amazing trip - tranquil, exhilarating and challenging at different times. Never a dull moment, with a fantastic guide and fellow canoeists. We did everything a canoe could do - except capsizing, but I was happy with that! The food was delicious and well balanced with lots of vegetables and protein. I highly recommend this trip, and especially Sam as our guide and chef 👍

WOW best experience of my life...
Book you will not regret this! Absolutley fantatsic, so well organised, planned and executed. The scenery and experiences are just out of this world. You learn so much along the way this really is a great great trip. I will be doing more. Take swimwear, its not on packing list but you can swim in the Fjords.
Travelled on: Hike, Kayak and Wild Camp the Norwegian Fjords
Absolutely brilliant trip. Rasmus and Frederik were brilliant guides, really knowledgeable! The scenery on this trip is breathtaking and the mix of kayaking, trekking to pulpit rock and wild camping (and swimming!) makes for a fabulous 4 days! Definitely recommend

What an amazing trip! Firstly Norway is breathtakingly stunning (I mean perhaps the best in the world and I’ve travelled a lot) this trip is a perfect balance of Kayaking and an exciting hike (you go up early to avoid the crowds) the hut location and the camping beautiful. The guides so much fun and knowledgeable. Fjords sooo awesome book this trip (all food included as Norway is expensive) do NOT miss this trip. Although I’ve done about 7 Skyhook adventures they never let you down !!

Bill & Sally are wonderful Guides - knowledgeable, helpful, encouraging, organised, fab stories! 5 stars 👌
I know when I booked this trip some of the other reviews helped me so here’s some points from me:
- bring everything on packing list but add extra socks (you walk over streams and your feet will get wet)
- bring a T-shirt to sleep in, ear plugs and waterproof bags for inside your backpack, the day cover will not keep your kit dry if it rains heavily
- bring snacks every though they say you don’t need too! Some cafes might not be open and your breakfast and lunch on day 2 is very small
- due to weather we didn’t get to visit Swiss farm (they didn’t want us in our wet clothing) and we didn’t swim in lake
So do expect the unexpected
- I found I didn’t need as much Swiss Fracs they told us to bring and didn’t spend much of the euros either but better safe than sorry I guess
- Easier to rent poles than bring your own
- The accommodation, food and showers get better each night
- Fitness level needs to be more than skyhook suggest… playing tennis twice a week isn’t going to help you up those mountains
- take travel insurance out a day earlier and day later just incase flights are cancelled etc
- I expected Skyhook mini van to collect us at the end of the walk but we all had to get 2 public buses back to vert lodge that were packed
Overall this is an amazing trip, with amazing people, the scenery is just breath taking and I highly recommend. It’s a trip of a lifetime and I hope you get Bill as a guide because he is a true inspiration

This adventure was the absolute best! The guides could not have been better, they’re so full of knowledge on everything regarding the hike and surroundings and so willing to share. Humorous, caring and just wonderful group of people together for 4 days. Loved it!

Thanks for a great experience. Bill and Sally made this trek a memorable one for sure.
As you know my son Matthew could not make it because he injured his ankle.
Can you please send me a note that he did not show up for the trek for insurance purposes.
Thanking you
Simon

Great trip. Great guide (Bill and Sallie).
Accommodation good but drying facilities not in every refuge.
Think Skyhook need to be more explicit in terms of the level of fitness required-whilst it should be inclusive for all individuals do also need to ensure that they are fit to do this trip. We had one person who was not fit enough and it impacted on the enjoyment for others.

Our guides, Bill and Sallie were amazing and the scenery was spectacular!
I would suggest that you do need a good level of fitness for this trip as the terrain is demanding both in terms of sustained ascent and descent.
I would recommend using dry bags to keep your kit dry as we experienced a heavy thunderstorm and there were not always adequate drying facilities.
I would also recommend bringing some snacks as on one occasion the breakfast and lunch was small and the climb long without opportunity to stop due to lack of facility and weather (both unpredictable and no fault of our guides).
Go prepared and you will have a great experience.

I loved the TMB 4-day Mont Banc highlight tour! It was even better than I expected. All was perfectly organized. We were a group of twelve, with the best guide ever - Christel. She knows the region in the tiniest detail and thus is very knowledgeable and reliable. She always took some time to some interesting facts about nature and mountains. I am looking forward to the next adventure in the Alps! It is an addictive experience.

Unfortunately we were unable to make the trip as Easyjet cancelled our flight last minute !! Your staff tried the their best to accommodate us, but it was not possible to get another flight out to Geneva. We were so dissappointed.

The hiking tour is absolutely great. Unforgettable experience from every angle. It’s very organized and extremely well implemented. You get advice from the day you book the trip on every aspect of the hike. During the walk you get to experience great views of the alps, local cuisine and the history of the places you pass. Personal thanks to Tom the owner of the tour. Lots of stories and jokes kept all of us going!! Him and Marcos entertained us the whole trip! A truly unforgettable experience, thank you so much!!!

TDMB 4 day trek in June. This was a fabulous tour organised to perfection. We were lucky to have Tom as one of our guides whose wealth of knowledge and experience was outstanding, he was meticulous in ensuring we had everything we needed whilst providing information every step of the way, making us feel safe and supported. We also had the brilliant Marcos whose gentle, fun character made us feel completely at ease and his passion for the mountains was infectious. What stood out for me was that we were treated as individuals encouraged to walk at our own pace, I was at the back but felt no pressure to keep up with the fast ones. This has been an incredible experience with breathtaking scenery, spent with the most wonderful people, full of fun and laughter all the way…..doh ray me. Thank you Tom and Marcos for an incredible experience, this WLW will be back….just when we can decide what next!
