Itinerary

Day 1: Meet the host and ski at Krvavec

You'll meet your host at 11 am at the airport, and then make the transfer to Krvavec ski resort - located in the Savinja Alps. When you arrive, you'll be given your ski passes, before heading out onto the slopes. There are routes to suit all abilities, with a good balance of greens, blues, reds and blacks.

When you are ready, you'll be transferred to your hotel in the centre of Ljubljana where you can check-in and grab some dinner.

Day 2: Kranjska Gora ski resort

You'll head over to Kranjska Gora this morning. This small and beautiful resort is located in the heart of the Julian Alps. This resort sits just a few kilometers from both the Austrian and Italian borders, with over 30km of ski slopes, 40km of tracks for cross-country skiing and even a snow park for freestylers. With a variety of runs, you can make the most of your day on the snow or kick back in the bars. At 4 pm, you will head back to Ljubljana.

In the evening, you can head out in the city center to check out the sights, restaurants or bars.

Day 3: Cerkno ski resort

The Cerkno ski resort is situated on the boundary of the Gorenjska and Primorje regions, with over 18km of pistes, making it one of the smaller ski resorts. However, Cerkno has the most modern skiing facilities in Slovenia, with a mixture of blue, red and black runs, making it the perfect resort for all levels of skier.

Day 4: Kanin ski resort & departure

Your transfer will pick you up at 8 am, and you'll head over to Kanin-Sella Nevea - located on the slopes of Mt Kanin and Sella Nevea Pass, joining Slovenia to Italy. Please remember to do the check-out from the hotel and bring your luggage with you.

You'll have plenty of slope time, with over 30km's to play in and amazing views over the Adriatic sea to enjoy on your last day!

At 4 pm, you’ll be taken back to the airport in time for your evening flight home.

Yes absolutely! A normal ski lesson is 2 hours in the morning, and 2 hours in the afternoon. The cost is 250EUR for a maximum of 6 people. Alternatively, you can pay per hour: 35EUR per person, per hour.

Any ski lessons can be arranged and paid for with your host directly. 

Yes - we get lots of solo travellers. It's a great way to meet like-minded people. 

Start: You'll meet your host at Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport at 11 am, on day 1 of your itinerary. Your host will meet all flights scheduled to land at 10:25 or earlier.

End: Your host will transfer you back to Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport at 6:30 pm, on day 4 of your itinerary.  

The trip is aimed at all fitness and experience levels. 

All the resorts have artificial snow and snow machines.

There are lots of bars and restaurants in the ski resorts and the city of Ljubljana. You will find something to suit most dietary requirements.

A buffet breakfast is included each morning at your hotel.

In Ljubljana city, the temperatures in the winter can be anywhere from -2 TO +5 degrees Celcius.

In the ski resorts, you can expect temperatures between -10 to +5 degrees Celcius on average.

No equipment is provided. However, if you would like to rent snowboard's or ski's then please just let your host know when completing your registration form - on the Skyhook dashboard.

Ski/Snowboard rental costs 135EUR for the 4 days.

The minimum age for this trip is 6. Adults accompanying children must be competent skiers or snowboarders. 

Any extra luggage that you have, can be left at your hotel.

You may notice that the Piste maps are all colour coded. Here's what they mean:

Green - Beginner level

Blue - Intermediate level

Red - Advanced level

Black - Expert level

Your head guide is Label
