Explore the volcanic island of El Hierro, hiking through the UNESCO geopark and swimming in natural pools.
You'll meet your guide at the Valverde seaport on El Hierro at 8:15 pm. From there you'll be transferred to your apartment, which is located in La Restinga - the most southerly village in Spain.
After breakfast, your guides will transfer you to the start of your hike, at El Pinar. Along the way, you'll pass through vineyards before arriving at the Montana de Juan - a spectacular volcano crater which is known for its unique lava flow. In the afternoon, there will be opportunities to enjoy a swim and some snorkelling around Tacoron bay.
You'll start the day with a circular hike through the famous forests of Sabinar - known for its windswept tree's that have been bent and sculpted over decades. After a picnic lunch, you'll head up to the summit of El Golfo, which boasts spectacular views of the coastline around the island.
Before heading back to the hotel, you can take a dip in the natural pools of la Maceta - a great place to watch the crashing waves.
After breakfast, you'll head over to San Andres via Las Playas viewpoint - arguably one of the best views on the island. Today's hike will take you to the Holy Tree Garoe, which is an important water source for the indigenous population.
You'll grab a picnic lunch, and head over to Valverde, the small capital of the island. After spending some time exploring the town, you'll be transferred back to the port for your ferry to Tenerife.
