Explore the spectacular Atlas Mountains and ancient Kasbahs of Morocco, with a family adventure suitable for ages 7-16.
The local guide will collect you from the airport and drive you to your accommodation in Marrakech. Here you will have a chance to settle into your rooms in the hotel and enjoy a nice, traditional evening meal in one of the surrounding restaurants.
Today you will have an opportunity to explore inside the old city walls of Marrakech, known as the Old Medina. Your guide will show you the sites and even take you into the hustle and bustle of the world famous Souks, where you can grab a bargain!
In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the small town of Imlil, which sits deep in the Atlas Mountains. Stay in local guest house.
Trek from Imlil head along the beautiful Tizi Mziki Pass 2460m where you will have incredible views of some of the highest mountains in North Africa. There are plenty of rest stops along the way and lunch will be near the beautiful waterfall of Ighouliden (2400m). In the afternoon, we arrive at the village of Tizi Oussem (1800m) and stay at a local family house. Feel free to explore the village, your kids can join in the games with the local children. Dinner in the guest house.
Today we leave Azzaden Valley with its beautiful villages and hike towards Matat village. It's one of the oldest villages in the area. we will pass through the village of Ait Aissa (1650m) and cross the juniper forest of Tizi Oudide (2100m). We take our lunch break on the pass. In the afternoon, head down to the village and stay in a local house.
After breakfast, kids will ride mules for 35 min before meeting your transport. You will then be taken to Asni-Camel trekking in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains in the Asni Valley (approximately 1 hour experience). After the trek, you will have lunch with your Moroccan guide's family before heading back to Marrakech.

The longest you will be on your feet for is 5 hrs. If this becomes too much for the children, then there will be mules on hand for them to ride back to the accommodation.
The minimum age for this adventure is 7 years old.

In Marrakech The rooms are all private rooms with double beds or twin sharing. Showers have warm water most of the time. There is also a swimming pool at the accommodation in Marrakech. In the Atlas Mountaiuns, we stay in simple but clean guest houses owned by local families.
Start: We meet you at Marrakech menara airport depending on your flight detaills. End: You will be dropped back off at the Old Medina (Jemaa el-Fnaa) or Marrakech
