Early transfer to km 82, the beginning of the Inca Trail. Once you pass the checkpoint, hike along the Urubamba River for 4 hours to the first Inca Site of Llaqtapata, where your expert trekking chef serves a delicious lunch. After enjoying your fresh meals, hike upstream along the Cusichaca River to the village of Wayllabamba. Camping is near the local houses.

Wake up in your tent with a freshly brewed coffee and get ready for the most challenging day. After breakfast, start with a 6-hour hike to the highest pass in the Inca Trail: Dead Woman's Pass or Warmiwañusca (4200 m / 13,779 ft). Once you reach the top, you will have time to admire the fantastic view of the Andes, then descend for 2 hours into the second campsite at Pacaymayo Valley (3600m / 11811 ft).

Awakening in the middle of two mountains with a cup of coffee in your tents, you’ll prepare for the 6-hours hike to our third campsite. First, you’ll climb the second mountain for 2 hours to reach the top of Ruincuraccay (4000m – 13123ft). Then, another 4 hours across the cloud forest to the Last Campsite Phuyupatamarka (3600 m / 11811ft.).

Wake up in the campsite with the most beautiful views in the Inca Trail, get ready for a 6-hours hike along the last part of the Inca Trail, hike along the impressive ancient trails, visit beautiful Inca sites, enjoy the variety of flora and fauna, and arrive to Machu Picchu through the Sungate. Explore Machu Picchu in the afternoon with fewer people and take that incredible photo while the citadel is almost empty. Then, take the bus down to Aguas Calientes, dinner at Indio Feliz, and spent the night ina 3-star hotel.

After a good night’s sleep, wake up early, breakfast in the hotel, and take the bus up to Machu Picchu. Explore the great 14th century Inca Citadel with your expert tour guide, discover the most beautiful temples, palaces, and learn the history of the Incas. After the guided tour, explore by yourself or take the optional hikes to either Huayna Picchu (2 hours round trip) or Machu Picchu mountain (3 hours round trip).
Later in the afternoon, take the Panoramic Vistadome train back to Ollantaytambo. Here, your TreKero transfer will be waiting for you and transfer you back to Cusco, arriving at your hotel around 7:30 pm.
