The Jbel Sirwa trek takes you through some of the most remote volcanic terrains in Morocco. It offers a sense of wilderness that other trekking regions do not. Sirwa bridges two mountain ranges, the High and Anti-Atlas. this trek takes you through many gorges and fascinating Berber villages, the summit of Jbel Sirwa as well as the diverse rock formations and vegetation. at the end of our journey we will not miss to explore the Unisco world heritage site of Kasbah Ait benhadou.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Marrakech & Free Sightseeing

On arrival in Marrakech you'll met by a our representative who will assist you and drive to the hotel.

The guide will give you a general briefing the experience and let you have free sightseeing qnd stroll into the magic city of Marrakech

we leave Marrakech at 8am and start our journey towards the Jebel Sirwa region we cross the high atlas mountains at Tizi n'Test Pass after driving all the way up from Oued nfis valley. We drop into the Taliouine region which is famed for its argon oil as this region is famed for growing this trees. We'll stop for lunch in Aoulouz before leaving the road au q generql nd driving towards the village of Tazount. Once here we meet our local team and can enjoy a short afternoon walk. Tonight make our camp near the gorge of Tislit.

after breakfast we Tislit groges and head towards the green valleys of Assif n'Ait Oubyal where ze find lots of field of barley, wheat and saffron. We will pass through many villages croos the valley and meet local people. We will also see a collective grain store that local people use for storing their grains all the year round. This fantastic structure is built into the cliff and looks more like a cave dwelling. After lunch we continue to Tozgui where we will camp.5hours walking

After breakfast we start the day walk up toGliz summit with a gradual and zigzagging trails. After a 3 hours easy ascent,we will get a splendid views from the summit. If the weather allows it, we will take time on the summit to benefit from the time having larges views around. Afterward we head down to camp in Tagragra and have our lunch. Relax afternoon. 5h walk.

Today is Jbel siroua summit day . we will pqss through pass through fabulous gorges, dramatic rock formations and the beautiful summit of Jebel Sirwa known as a composite volcano. We will also experience a scrambling part before we arrive to the summit. Lovely views with no limits from the top.

we descend through lovely rock formations followed by a nice fields of agriculture with terraces of corn and saffron. we camp near a lovely collection of shepherds' houses and sheep folds at Tissouitine 7h walk

Today we start by descending into the beautiful valley of Assif n'Izine. we'll find very olds irrigation channels that provide water for the villagers. Next we descend and make our way through a gorge which brings us into a saffron-growing area above the villages of Ait Ighmour and Idoughagh. On this part of the trail we hike through the river zith lots of walnut trees. Late afternoon we arrive on the the village of Tizouad where we set up our camp.

After our final breakfast of the trek,we will pack our staff and drive towards Ait benhadou Kasbah, a Unisco world heritage site. Short walk to explore this magnificent castle and drive towards Telouet valley where we will have lunch. Afterwards ze head to Marrakch passing through the spectacular Tichka pass. Arrive to Marrakech around 5pm. Drop off at the hotel. End of our services with a final diner.

in the trek we stay in wild camps as we use our own tents and mattresses as well as all the necessary camp equipment. for the toilet, we use tent toilet.
