All meals are included. These include traditional Moroccan dishes (tagine, couscous etc), with fresh ingredients. The lunches are typically cold meals (e.g. picnics with sandwiches and salads) and the evening meals are warm cooked meals.
The hiking days are 4-7 hours at a relaxed pace, with lots of breaks. You do need a good base level of fitness - if you don't have this we recommend some training before your trip, such as jogging or sport 2 times a week.

Start: Your guide will meet you at your hotel in Marrakech, or the airport, at 9:00 am.
End: For return flights, you will be dropped back at Marrakech airport for 3:00pm (we recommend flying after 5.30pm). If you are staying on in Marakkech, you can be dropped off in the city instead.
Yes! Many people do this - when you've booked on you are added to a group chat on the Skyhook website with the other guests. Here you can also arrange to meet people before the trip, or stay on after to explore Marrakech.
The guides will provide you with 1.5L of water each day, as well as lots of tea. Water is also available from many local village stores along the way. There are also natural springs, which help reduce plastic waste, but if you use these we recommend you bring water purification tablets as these are not available in Morocco.

Wifi is available in the hotels on the first and last nights, however, it can be unreliable given the remote location. There is no internet available in the mountains, and the phone signal can be poor.
You will follow a sensible acclimatization plan that works well for most participants. This includes regular breaks and a gradual increase in the altitude at which you sleep.
Altitude affects everyone in different ways. However, the key is to mention if you are experiencing any symptoms to your guide (headache/nausea) as soon as you feel them.
