Beginners Cross-Country Skiing
This trip is for beginners, who want to try cross-country skiing in one of Slovenia's most incredible locations.
Itinerary
Your guide will collect you from Ljubljana airport at 10:30 am, before heading over to your hotel. Along the way, you will stop off at the beautiful Lake Bled.
After you have settled into your room and had some lunch, you will head over to the world cup biathlon centre for your first cross country skiing session. It's a pretty impressive place! After a few hours of developing your technique, and getting used to the skis, you will enjoy some time in the sauna before your dinner.
After breakfast, you'll strap on your skis and literally start from the front door of your hotel. With some easy skiing across the Javorniki meadows, you will focus on your technique whilst soaking up the incredible landscapes around you.
After you have enjoyed your evening sauna and meal, there will be an optional night hike - a fantastic way to do some stargazing!
You'll head back over to the world cup biathlon centre today, to focus on your technique. Ski through some of the best meadows and forests in Slovenia with this mecca for cross country skiing.
In the evening, you'll head over to the medieval town of Radovljica, before heading back to the airport for your journey home.
