In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Moshi and drive to Tarangire National Park, which is known for its huge baobab trees and large herds of elephants often found looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds. Its sparse vegetation makes it a beautiful and special location. Migratory wildebeest, zebra and buffalo can also be seen crowding the shrinking lagoons. Here you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch. Later, we proceed to Karatu.

In the morning, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, which is located within the Great Rift Valley. Lake Manyara boasts a spectacular setting, famous for its tree-climbing lions and soda-ash lake. The park also provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingos, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants.

Early morning drive to Lake Eyasi, you’ll get the chance to visit the bushmen tribe of Datoga and Hadzabe and learn about their culture and way of life. A tour will give you he opportunity to go along on a hunt and experience their great hunting skills with arrows and bows, as well as enjoy some singing and dancing ceremonies.

Today you drive to one of the most famous game parks in Africa, the Serengeti! Known to host one of the most amazing wildlife spectacles on earth – the great migration of wildebeest and zebra – the Serengeti’s vast plains are also home to a haven of other wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many other predators.

This morning, you may be lucky to catch a glimpse of lions and other predators on their morning hunt during your first game drive. After brunch, you’ll then leave the park and go for the final game drive while on your way to Karatu via the Ngorongoro conservation area. One of Africa's seven natural wonders! Before dinner is served, enjoy awesome views of the crater below.

Today you’ll rise early in the morning to descend the 600m high walls to the floor of the crater and get up close with one of Africa’s seven natural wonders! Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is considered one of the most beautiful and unique places in Africa. Here you will find a haven of African wildlife and you might also be lucky enough to witness the endangered Rhino! later proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.

The safari is family-friendly, with a minimum age of 6 years.
It can be generally hot during the day and cool in the evenings. We recommend packing the following; - Extra binoculars - Camera - Sunglasses - Hat - Sunscreen - Mosquito repellent - Warm clothes (sweater, fleece or jacket, pants etc.) for your early morning in Ngorongoro Crater. - Cool comfortable clothes for during the day.
Start: You will be picked up from your hotel in Moshi at 7 AM on day 1 of your itinerary. End: You will be dropped off in Moshi, or Kilimanjaro Airport at 7 PM on day 7 of your itinerary.
The average temperature is 25C in the day and 15C in the morning/evenings. We recommend bringing a fleece and waterproof jacket, although you'll spend most of the safari within the 4x4s.
You may want to bring a small amount of cash for tips and any souvenirs.
