Wow, amazing two days. Omar and his family were most accommodating and welcoming. I actually had Omar as a personal guide as I was only one booked for my dates. Omar was informative and helpful in answering any questions before and during my trip. I loved the fact him and his family were local to the area and have been for many generations it makes it very special. I 100% recommend booking with Omar sooner the better as no doubt he will be very busy soon. Thank you Omar and family for an unforgettable experience in the Atlas Mountains. I will see you again one day to climb the mount toubkal . All best and every success to you. Tom.

Absolutely amazing 5 star trip. Omar worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect and ensured I had a fantastic trip. His mum makes a first class breakfast and the food throughout the experience was exceptional. This trip is an absolute must do.

I had an excellent time on the trip with my wonderful guide, Omar. I was travelling on my own, and felt very safe, welcomed and well looked after for the whole trip. The first day was tough - I always thought I was reasonably fit, but hiking in the Peak District was nowhere near this; our first ascent up the Tizi Mzik pass was a good 2 or so hours climb up from Imlil to the top (just over 700m ascent). At the top we stopped for a drink at the cafe (the fresh orange juice is a must on a hot day!) and then for lunch slightly further down the valley. A few more hours of hiking downhill and we came into the village of Azzaden where we stayed overnight. Accommodation is basic but comfortable - we stayed at the Gete Anfa Idâissa; there’s wifi, hot water, etc. Amazing hearing the sunset prayers echoing through the valley. The following day we set off about 9:30am after breakfast, prepared by our cook. Then set off on a slightly easier route, back into the Imlil valley - although we didn’t go back to Imlil. We instead went to a picnic spot just off the main road into Imlil (from Asni) near the river, where we had lunch (again prepared by our cook) and finally my ride back to Marrakech. I had a wonderful 2 days; Omar was lovely and so helpful and patient - especially given my knee started to be a problem at the end of the first day and he had to walk backwards down the mountain to make sure I got down safely. I can’t wait to come back again - it was an absolute pleasure.
