Trek to Mount Toubkal on this 4 days climb through the wilderness, and explore some of the most spectacular spots in the area, including Imlil valley, the Sidi Chamarouch shrine, and the summit of Mt Toubkal.
You will be picked up from your Hotel in Marrakech at 8:30 am, and drive towards Imlil valley 1740m where you will be met by a local guide ! You will check in at a guesthouse before your set off on an acclimatizing hike to Tizi Mzik pass 2489m where you will have a stop for lunch prepared by a cook. After the lunch break, you will walk back down via the same route to your lodge in Imlil where you will spend the night.
After breakfast, you will set off trekking towards Tizi Mzik pass from where you will have amazing views over Imlil valley & Azzaden valley. After a short break on the pass, continue to Azib Tamsoulte after lunch visit the highest waterfalls in the Atlas Mountains (100m of height), Overnight in Tamsoult Refuge, 6hrs walking.
Today involves a fairly stiff climb out of the Azzadene Valley to the Toubkal Refuge over the Aguelzim Mountain pass at 3,600m. Picnic Lunch will be taken with spectacular views over the Atlas Mountain Range. This is a fairly long day with 6 to 7 hours of trekking, involving 1310m up and then almost 353m back down to (Neltner Hut), Overnight 6 to 7hrs walking.
Up early for the climb up Toubkal (4,167m) from where, clouds allowing, you'll have wonderful views over the Atlas Range and the Sahara Desert then a long way back down past the refuge and the well-worn path back to valley Imlil. This is a fairly long day with 8-9 hours of trekking, involving 900m up then almost 2,500m back down to Imlil valley, and drive back to Marrakech in the late afternoon.
